Traveling on business and stayed there as many of the hotels in town were fully booked.
You get what you pay for. It’s a small basic hotel that does the job for a quick overnight stay.
There wasn’t anyone at the counter when I came in so had to ring the bell. Someone eventually came to serve me and he was nice and quickly gave me my key to the room. Can’t say much more about the service as didn’t see anyone after that.
Pros
- room overall was clean
- bed was comfortable .
Cons
- bad area of the city. A lot of people hanging out and doing ***** around the hotel. Would avoid going out at night
- no AC
- no elevator
- foul odor coming from the bathroom

The hotel itself was clean and "satisfactory", but the area was not one I would want to be out in at night. I know it's near the train station, but it felt especially unsafe. The clerk running the front desk seemed "out of it". We asked for a fan, which he was happy to bring up to the room, but he LET HIMSELF IN to deliver it. As two women staying in the hotel alone, it felt VERY unsafe.

Very well insulated from street noise.

The concierge was particularly helpful when our ferry was late and we arrived after 11pm.
It's a perfect stopover hotel

The fellow at the desk was so helpful. The place was a good deal for the price. It was very clean. We were close to the bus station. Not much for close restaurants. The sushi place next door was good though.
