Anderson Inn, Anderson, Indiana

Randall met me at check in. He helped me carry my luggage up to the second story. His kindness and consideration was so very much appreciated. The room was clean. The shower worked and so did sink. The bed was sleepable and was very basic. For my needs this was all I needed. The cost was within my budget. They really need newer blankets but I did not need them. Ice machine I found was not working. But all in all I would recommend this hotel as it was clean, bug free and met my needs. And again Randall was excellent. It was easily within eating places and 10 min away from my event area.

No ‘lamps’ just 2 overhead lights. The heater blows the curtain open so that the room is on public view. The sink faucet sprays above the sink and soaks the top of the vanity. I just killed a cockroach - picture available upon request. Not sure I’ll stay the night……

Checked out within 30 minutes of arrival. Saw one cockroach and knew I could not stay the night. The staff was understanding and did not question why I was leaving. I wish nothing but the best for the Anderson Inn.

Waited in line with five others trying to check in for almost fifteen minutes while the guy running the place talked on the telephone. Then he finally came to the window told everyone he would be right back. Then he proceeded to come out lock the door and got in his car and left the premises!! Left all of us just standing there. I waited for another ten minutes in which time he did not return. So needless to say we had to find and pay for another hotel. Went back the next morning to get a refund and they refused saying we should have waited for the manager to return!! Horrible service! The place was also terrible looking, trash in the parking lot, old and worn down. Avoid this place at all costs!!

I made a reservation for three nights I ended up staying for about 30 minutes before getting another hotel across the street. Is that 30 minutes I was a cop it in the parking lot twice by Phil is pushing shopping carts full of garbage asking for money and when I got to my room I went up there five minutes before a ********** knocked on the door and proposition me. The television has three channels… Three! They were CNN, the WNBA channel and finally a channel dedicated to self-help testimonials. I went across the street back to the Charleston in the next morning to ask for a refund which was promised on ********** where I made the reservation and was told they don’t give any refunds. I explain to them what happened the day before that I was uncomfortable staying there because one of the two locks on the door didn’t even work. The hotel clerk said call a cop if you don’t like it. That would give us -5 stars .

the room is non-smoking and the cigarette litter is dirty. First and last time I'm in this place

Upon check in the attendant was nice however on his cell phone video chatting with a woman. He gave me the card said oh yea your room is 208. Upon entering the room I noticed multiple cigarette burns on the comforter as well as a large oily looking stain. There were no free plugs in the actual room itself to charge our phones so we had to sacrifice the refrigerator plug. Bathroom was clean but clearly rusted and painted over. Upon pulling back the blankets I’d found that the bed was covered with 2 flat sheets (no fitted sheet) the box frame on the bed now visible had multiple stains on it. Overall not a very pleasant feeling. Given the hour we’d gotten in and having driven 16 hours we’d sacrificed trying to find another place but wouldn’t recommend going there to anyone!!

Room was close to everything. Needs to be updated extremely bad. Bed was comfy,but covers and sheets were filthy. Thankfully I bought my own.

My stay was absolutely horrible when we walked in to our first room the sheets and bed was completely filthy and there was burn marks on the sheets and comforters and I checked the bathroom the vent was hanging off the wall and there was roaches in the shower so me and my husband went down to complain and the man behind the counter came and looked at the room so he gave us another room and then got mad at us for checking the sheets and the new room had some yellow stain on the sheets we did stay but would not recommend this hotel to anyone also the pictures do not look nothing like the room
