Very good 2-night stay. Parador is right in the centre of Guadalupe, next to the Monastery. Guadalupe itself was a little too touristy for us, with lots of shops selling the same souvenirs but this of course, has nothing to do with the Parador! Staff's professionalism and friendliness excellent. A superior double room has a terrace overlooking the town and mountains beyond. Car parking expensive, especially when not busy.

Our stay was a three night stop off en route from the Mediterranean coast back to Santander. We were looking for rest and relaxation and found it. Situation is great and beautiful views from our balcony. Staff and food quality were both excellent.

Felt like stepping back in time a few centuries, while providing top class food and service in a very well maintained hotel.

Any hotel in the old town is difficult to drive to, including the Parador but it has good parking [important]. Its location within the town is perfect, right by the main square, restaurants/bars and the cathedral. It was quite pricey so we didn't eat there.

Wonderful room! Very pleasent People and staff. The location is great and the staff very much available. Dont leave without a drink at the patio or a Lunch or dinner at the restaurant outdoors. Really a good time

Very disappointing that the pool had shut for the season despite the temperature being mid thirties, and Merida and Orapesa Paradors pools still open.
Lovely area to dine outside and garden with view of monastery. Expensive breakfast.

Perfect place to visit the Cloister. Nice to sit in the patio and to have a coffee. Very friendly stuff at the breakfeast service.

The stay and the environment in the Parador was very pleasant. Bathroom is in urgent need of an update. The room has a lot of charm and is very nice. However, due to the lack of daylight, it is not really suitable for a longer stay.

Gracious, knowledgeable staff and service. Magnificent old world ambiance. Reliable for comfort and service. I have come to rely on Paradores in my go to travel itineraries. Solo señora with dietary allergies.
