Dag van aankomst: gaven ze ons een kamer zonder balkon terwijl ik geboekt had met een balkon, na bezoek aan de receptie toch nog de juiste gekregen deze was echter smerig en vervuild met allerhande haren, hand afdruk op de muur boven het toilet, achter de kraan van de wasbak tandpasta resten! kamer niet gestofzuigd kortom GOOR. Na klagen werd het wel op hun manier schoongemaakt. 2e dag: na een dagje sightseeing kwamen we terug in de kamer die niet was schoongemaakt, bed niet opgemaakt, geen schone handdoeken, na klagen werd het op hun manier als nog schoongemaakt. Om 20:00 begon er opeens een verjaardag feest van de eigenaars dochter. de feestzaal bleek direct onder onze kamer te zijn, door de mega bass dreun stond alles te trillen. Na klagen boden ze ons aan om in een andere kamer te gaan slapen voor de nacht, ik heb toen gevraagd “tot hoe laat is het feest, en zijn er in de aankomende tijd nog meer feestjes gepland” de manager zei dat het feest tot 24:00 zou duren en er zouden geen feesten meer zijn. Om geen problemen te veroorzaken heb ik gezegd dat voor de 2 uur dat het nog zou duren dat we het zo laten (het was ondertussen 22:00) 1:00 het feest was nog in volle gang en dreunde de muziek nog altijd lekker door, ik weer naar de receptie daar kreeg ik te horen dat er helemaal geen eindtijd aan het feest was. We zijn toen voor de nacht in een leeg appartement van het hotel met een waardeloos bed gedropt waar de muziek ook nog te horen was, het was ondertussen 2:00 uur. 3e dag: Na een slechte nachtrust wij weer naar onze kamer met de excuses van de receptie en de belofte dat de kamer perfect zou zijn als we terug zouden komen van ons bezoek aan het oude centrum van Skopje. Bij terugkomst zagen we dat onze kamer niet was schoongemaakt en een vrachtwagen muziek apparatuur aan het uitladen was, wij weer naar de receptie en gevraagd wat de bedoeling hiervan was. Het bleek dat er een 5 jarige jubileum feest van het hotel zou gaan plaatsvinden en dat ze ons wederom in een andere kamer gingen plaatsen, dit was de druppel voor ons. Om onze vakantie te redden hebben we een kamer geboekt in het Doubeltree Hilton hotel waar ze wel om hun gasten geven, en een hun 5 sterren service laten zien. Kortom voor een 1 ster ervaring ga je naar het Park hotel, ga je voor de 5 sterren raad ik het Doubeltree Hilton aan het is iets duurder, maar dat scheelt je een hoop ergernis en ellende.

Just spent 4 nights in this super hotel. Located about 15 min walk from the centre by the side of the river and next to the football stadium and park [close to zoo too]. Very friendly staff, all able to speak at least a little English so language is no problem. Nice breakfast, super restaurant for diner and high gym. Perfect for business or holiday.

Stayed on business for five nights and I was overall suitably impressed by the hotel. It is modern and comfortable and my room was large and stylish. There are some nice design touches like the bright red Smeg fridge, some funky furniture and a big shower/wet room, which was amazing! However, the tap on the sink did come off in my hand! It has probably one of the best hotel gyms I have seen, with lots of modern kit and equipment and clean, airy workout areas. Breakfast was really good and the food in the main restaurant was also excellent. There are a couple of bars, which again, are comfortable and modern, with a nice atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and reasonably priced for an upscale hotel. The immediate surroundings look a bit drab, right next to the sports stadium, but the City Park is within a couple of minutes walk and is a pleasant area and it is possible to walk in an easterly direction through the park for 10 minutes or so, to a more lively part of town, with a selection of bars and restaurants. Incidentally, eating out and drinking is not expensive at all. We found several restaurants serving tomahawk steaks for £20 - £25 and a large beer is less than £2. It is a short taxi ride or a 25 minute walk in the other direction, towards the central city locations and the Old Bazaar, which are worth visiting. The city centre is surprisingly lively and picturesque, with the Vardar River running through the middle. The Old Bazaar is an interesting place, with it's old, narrow streets, shops, markets, restaurants and bars. In summary, a very good, comfortable and modern hotel, which I would definitely recommend for a stay in Skopje.

- Negatives: Paid for the most expensive room, but put in a smaller (lower rate) room on the sly as they didn't have it available. They then refused to refund the rate and the manager was extremely rude. Spa pool closed for full period of stay. Shower in room freezing for one day, then only just above cold during other days. Air Conditioning makes a really loud noise for a minute when you put your key card into the card slot. Safe didn't work. - Positives Great central location, right by the football stadium. Modern decor Friendly bar staff and well priced drinks/food

The hotel was beautiful , walking distance to center but the garbage was overflowing everywhere and dogs roaming some scary .

We only stayed for one night before our flight back home and it was nice we had dinner which we enjoyed and the atmosphere was nice with music and lifely . Our flight was in the afternoon and they let us use the spa to relax before the flight. We really liked that

Not a pleasant stay. We did 4 nights and honestly didn’t feel like a 5 star stay. Food (dinner) wasn’t up to par. Hotel room didn’t even have a full body mirror, nor was it fully finished with even the switch light broken. The bathroom was too small and the door didn’t give me the privacy I want when I shower due to it being transparent (made of glass with a few parts non see through). Breakfast was ok although food was cold at times.

A large and relatively new hotel 1 km from the centre of Skopje. This multistorey hotel is across from a major sporting stadium. The hotel is nicely furnished and quite plush. The relatively slow lift took us up to our room on the third level where we had a room that looked onto the side wall of the stadium. Unless you are a smoker, you probably wouldn’t use this balcony. The room was quite large, being longer than anticipated. The room has an incredibly well-stocked minibar and other items for purchase on the coffee table and on some shelving. The bathroom is a large concrete structure with a glass wall facing the bedroom. The drainage from the shower was not fabulous and the water did tend to stream across the bathroom floor. The air conditioning worked well and the double glazing on the windows kept all outside noise out. The beds were very comfortable with quality linen and pillows. The room decor was semi industrial, with lots of concrete surfaces. The hotel does have a restaurant on premises, but we walked to a nearby local pub. The walk is through an extensive car park and access roads, which are not particularly well lit at night. The breakfast was fairly standard, but all items were fresh and replenished frequently. There is a spa centre attached to this hotel, and it seem to be relatively popular. There is a walking path at the front of the hotel that takes you along the river towards the old town. If I was to visit this city in the future, I would stay there again.

This is a merely 2-star hotel experience, do not pay for this hotel as the experience is really way far from a 5-star hotel. 1. Poor hotel maintenance —— bedside lamp not working —— ceiling lightbulb not working —— worn out room 2. Poor noise cancellation —— Water rushing down the pipes —— Could hear guests clearly —— Could hear hotel operations noises (music and etc) 3. Dirty room —— dirty floor —— dusty table & shelves 4. Poor customer service —— I had to follow up on my request status myself —— the staff doesn’t take the initiative to revert with updates 5. Spa service —— selected services are available I chose this hotel because I wanted to unwind and really relax myself. Ended up, I am even more stressed out with all sort of noise pollutions!
