City Hotel the Busan Metro

Friendly and helpful reception staff who provided clear destination directions when asked upon. Proposed to include *Exit 12* of Choryang metro station as the nearest exit (out of 12 exits) to the Hotel for first time travellers. Hotel allows early arrival travellers to store luggage before the official 4pm check-in time so that they can explore Busan. Same for after check-out (11am) which is so good and appreciated. The breakfast buffet has a delicious, good and wide spread of food. Breakfast time from 7-9am is strictly enforced. Suggest they extend to 10am though. Surprised and very happy they have my favourite Shin Ramyun cup noodles in the Western buffet menu. Loved their Espresso coffee too. Really value for money! Wished I could extend another 3-night stay but were unavailable. Will definitely stay again on my next trip.

We stayed for 3 nights, the location is perfect as is just one stop away from the main train station and well connected to all areas via bus. The breakfast time window was a bit tight (7.00 - 9.00) as it would be nice tok be able to sleep in a bit more when you are on holidays.

My first trip to Busan and using this hotel for 3nights. The room and toilet is quite spacious and comfortable. No free amenities( tooth brush, comb, shaver…)provided you will need to buy the amenity set at the reception for 3000won. Location is quite good as it is near Choryang subway station, but the closest exit (Exit12) does not have an escalator/ elevator beware if you’re taking big and heavy luggages. There’s also a bus stop in front of the hotel which you can use to take bus and travel around Busan city.

The hotel room looked nothing like it looked in the images. The first room I was giving the toilet had urine on the seat. My room was changed . While the bathroom and room it self was clean . The cleaning could be better. The room itself was dusty and the towels looked well used . The bedding as well could have been better. The bed was comfy and big . And the breakfast was okay for a vegetarian, basic but filled me up for the day of travel . The checking staff could be more friendly and welcoming . The location is close to the station and it’s easy to use the buses to get to place however it is far away from the beach areas . Downside of the room no hanging space and not full length mirror .

The hotel is deceptive. The room in the photo is different from the actual room. The real room is much smaller. And the cleanliness is not very good. As soon as I entered the room, I saw body hair in the bathtub, so I didn't dare to use it for bathing. There are no clothes hooks in the whole house, and it is indeed unsafe without anti-theft chains in the rooms. The breakfast can only be said to be filling. You can eat it for free, but it’s not worth it if you pay. This time I booked a room on trip.com. I felt that they were very supportive. If I had any questions, I could go to them directly. They served like a secretary. I will book on trip.com next time.

Located near Choryang metro, only 2-minute walk, a bus station in front of the hotel, 15 15-minute walk to Busan Station. I stayed for 5 days, breakfast was good but very little variety.

The hotel is very well located. 10 mins walk from the Busan station. It is very close to the Texas street, where you get to see the traditional Korean market. There is a bus stop at your doorstep. The staff was very helpful and spoke fluent English and Japanese!

Super spacious! With a queen bed and 2 single beds with still have ample space for sofa and table and lotsa spaces to open our 4 luggages. Surprised by the super huge bathtub! Too bad we were only there for 2 nights. Not much chance to use. A few min walk away from metro. And the metro is only one stop away from Busan KTX. Convenience store is at opposite street. Bus stop is outside too. Will definitely come back again!
