City Hotel the Busan Metro

Listed down few things I would like to feedback as below during my 2 days staying: Pros 1. No doubt that the location of the Hotel is very convenient as it is very near to Busan station and Choryang station. 2. The Hotel allowed us to have early check in without additional charges due to our early arrival. Cons 1. Front desk staffs attitude - One of the front desk staff (A guy with spectacles) has very bad attitude when I asked him to reconsider let us have early check in. He rolled eyes to me and with bad tones saying that ‘NO’. I very confirmed and confident that I using a very gentle tones when asking him this question. - When I completing the check in procedures with another female staff, I feedback this incident to her and she apologies to us on behalf immediately (which is considered a good attitude) - second day of staying in the hotel, we noticed there is no towels are given after room service and my parents make a call to room service via internal phone to request sending over 3 towels to us. And the on duty staff asking us to go down take the towels by ourselves (which I think is unacceptable?). I make a second call to the front desk and eventually they agreed to send the towels to us. 2. Room cleanliness / hotel environment - when we enter the room, the desk was full with water stains and the corridor lights were very dim . - the room doesn’t not have safety locks

Easily accessible to metro and bus stations. Room is ok but lighting in the room not the best especially where the mirror/basin is. We stayed for three nights but for the first night, when we returned from our outing, we realised the room wasn’t made up. But the hotel staff was very helpful and kind. She immediately brought us new water bottles, help out change out the towels and replace the trash bags.

I rarely write reviews. This is my first time because the hotel is so good, very clean and close to the city. It is very convenient. There is a convenience store opposite the hotel. The hotel staff is very good. I asked him the location and he told me and printed out a map from the computer. It was really considerate. This is the first time I met such a good staff. I fell in love with Busan because everyone here is very friendly and can speak English. It is not as bad as Jeju Island.

Front desk staff are not approachable and not helpful. Security - anyone could just walk in and take a lift without reception noticing. The room is small. Bath and face towels were placed outside the bathroom - not practical. No place to hang towels and our clothes, so we had to purchase some (see photos).

The receptionists were extremely friendly and very helpful in recommending restaurants and tourist spots. The hotel is within walking distance to Busan Train station..

Excellent location, just opposite the bus stop and very near to Choryang station exit 12. Nice room and good busan view

Overall was a really good stay. The hotel is so very close to subway exit 12. About less than 2 minutes walk. Several convenient stores nearby. The best thing is the bus stop right in front of the hotel, easily getting yourself to all the major destinations in Busan. Highly recommended. I’d suggest international traveller choose the room without breakfast, as breakfast selection is somehow very limited. Will stay again next year for sure

Pros: -excellent location (2 mins walk from exit 12 of nearest subway station, 15 mins walk to railway station), -good enough breakfast, -fast check in (there was no queue) -polite receptionists -everyday cleaning Cons: -small bath towels
