Stayed for 3 nights in one of the larger rooms - certainly big enough, quirky & comfortable & worth the extra cost. Very friendly staff & a beautiful roof terrace which we made good use of. Free tea & coffee served all day & excellent extensive breakfast in lovely old room. Small hotel (11 rooms) so very personal service & cheap laundry. Situated next door to a good & reasonably priced local restaurant where we ate twice (also has a great roof terrace). Organised our onward transfer to Khiva through the hotel & had a very comfortable vehicle for 4 of us. Location of hotel excellent - just 2 mins walk into the main area of old Bukhara.

This was my favorite hotel in the three towns I stayed in! My room was just stunning.. from the wall murals to the drapes.. everything was perfect. Very comfortable king sized bed and nice selection of pillows. The bathroom was large. The staff was very friendly and most spoke perfect English. They greet you as you come and go. The breakfast was fantastic and varied daily with homemeade sweet and savory sides along with eggs cooked to your liking. Complimentary tea and coffee all day. Great terrace. You can walk everywhere from the hotel. You can’t go wrong. This would be my go to if I ever return.

What a great little hotel in a city that has so many guesthouses. I would highly recommend the hospitality of the owner and his well trained and kind young team. They were very helpful for my visit to Bukhara (an amazing city). I would recommend the Jr. Suite, as it doesn't cost much more and is spacious. Finally, the rooftop is very tranquil and a great place for an end of evening drink or break in the middle of a sightseeing day. I also had a massage for $20 USD and she was very good. Highly recommend this lovely little hotel. Also, eat at Ayvan, superb restaurant and Bukhara luckily benefits from many. Also a very new one called Restaurant Jam just across the road from this hotel. Enjoy.

This is an ideal base to visit Bukhara and its historical centre. Some attractions are two minutes walk away while the historic centre is a five minute stroll. The hotel itself is absolutely brilliant, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with spacious rooms, having AC. Breakfast, more a banquet, superb. There are many restaurants nearby of good quality. What made the hotel special for us - a 71 year old married couple - were the staff, nothing was too much trouble. We saw the owner every day and he was passionate about his hotel and offered any assistance he could, spoke fluent English, the only downside was that he had spent time in England and was a Liverpool supporter. You can’t have everything.

Lovely charming boutique hotel which is walking distajce from majority of tourist sites. Pros Warm staff Interesting room patterns Great breakfast Comfortable rooms with all amenities No cons for me, but most rooms are on the 1st floor, so might need to check for a lower floor room incase of mobility issues.

An awesome hotel! Beautifully appointed. Rooms comfortable and temperature controlled. Breakfasts are exceptional for food variety and servers concern for the patrons. Recommend highly! Would stay again if back to Bukhara.

We had three rooms at the Amelia and loved our visit. Each room was different and beautifully decorated. We had some bicycles with us, lots of flat tires to repair, early morning starts, and the hotel was incredibly helpful.

There are so many nice and good things to be said about this guesthouse I don't know where to start. The old building, in which it is located, is simply splendid and beautifully decorated. A rooftop patio makes for an excellent place where to chill in the evening. The room is nicely decorated as well, it is quite spacious, as is the bathroom. Breakfast is very tasty and served to your liking. The owner, Bakhodir, is a very welcoming and knowledgeble guy who speaks probably the best English I've encountered in all of Uzbekistan. It comes at a price, but is definitely a very good value.

Wonderful hotel. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable.The management are incredibly friendly and very helpful.The location is perfect and quiet.Breakfast is the best we had in Uzbekistan so much great food. There is roof terrace and quiet courtyard. Perfect place to stay in Bukhara
