"goede plek als uitvalbasis naar de gorrilas.leuke ontvangst in de lodge bij aankomst. ook heel aardige mensen. de ligging is heel goed, met een mooi uitzicht, kamers zijn ook netjes, maar er is wel wat onderhoud nodig, bv kapotte lampen en kleine dingen op de badkamer.de badkamer werd wel snel gerepareerd. het eten is goed, er is ook warm water uit de douche, en het bed is ook goed, ik had echter wel heel vochtige kussens. ze maken zelfs je bergschoenen zuiver als je het vraagt(of word gevraagd). helaas lag mijn kamer naast de parkeerplaats, wat wel enige geluidsoverlast gaf."

"Ik was door en stopte bij de signaalpost, ik was warm welkom door de receptie, ik genoot de rust van de plek en ik had een geweldige pauze in de ochtend. De gemakkelijke toegang tot de stad Kisoro maakte het meer voor mij. Het was ook verbaasd over de afstand tot de luchtstrip"

"De weg naar de lodge is al een hele belevenis met adembenemende verzichten. Eens toegekomen wordt het nog mooier. Onbekender als lake Bunjonji maar zoveel mooier is Lake Mutanda. Het is dan ook zeker de rit waard. De lodge is ongetwijfeld de best gelegen en de eigenares heeft ook een hart voor de lokale community en voor rescue dieren. Het eten is er lekker en de uitstappen die ze aanbieden zijn ook zeker de moeite waard. Van een natuurwandeling tot een boottocht bij valavond. De ruime chalets zijn met smaak gedecoreerd en voorzien van alle comfort. "

"I am a frequent visitor to Kisoro and just completed another two week stay at the Mutolere Coffee Pot Guest Houses. In all, I have lodged here for ＞ 6 months total over the last 10 years, and this has become my 'go-to' lodging for all my visits to Kisoro. The site is pleasant and quiet, outside of the hustle and bustle of Kisoro Town and located adjacent to the St Francis Hospital and the School of Nursing in Mutolere. The grounds are quiet, pleasant and abundantly planted with flowering bushes and trees. The breakfasts on the bed-and-breakfast program are simply wonderful and provide a wide variety of options suitable to any palate. The relatively recent addition of the "stone house" building serves as meeting place, breakfast area, and community site, complete with fireplace and kitchen supplied with sodas and drinks. The area is very safe and I have never had any concerns for security or safety throughout my numerous stays. At night one can see millions of stars on a cloudless night, yet it is also well lit for safety and comfort. Amenities are basic but clean, with individual kitchen areas bathrooms, sitting areas, and bathrooms. Laundry services are available at an excellent price. WiFi is available. The staff is wonderful and friendly.... special shout out to Alfred, the property manager, who has always been very proactive with visitors and attentive to any needs that may come up. The property is also linked to the Coffee Pot Cafe in Kisoro Town which provides a consistent and reliable menu of food options. The local staff at the Guest Houses and Coffee Pot Cafe can help travelers sort through the myriad of touristic options available in Kisoro District and link them to resources to arrange excursions if desired... mountain climbing on the nearby Virunga Range, relaxing lake experiences at Lake Mutanda or Bunyoni, Gorilla tracking, Golden Monkey tracking, Hiking, coffee plantations, and more. Overall the Mutolere Coffee Pot Guest Houses has been a consistently excellent location for my lodging needs in Kisoro."

"A really beautiful place with fantastic staff - very friendly and helpful. We spent there 2 nice days visiting Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and would have loved to stay longer, to enjoy the delicious food and the spotless clean bungalows. We got a lot of information and everyone did everything to make us feel at home!"

"I spent two great nights here. The lodge enjoys a great location on the southern part of Bwindi, a very short distance to the UWA visitor's Centre where you register and get a briefing before you embark your Gorilla trekking experience. Isabel and her team were polite and always eager to help. Special mention to my room Steward Gilbert. A calm, dedicated chap. The rooms at the lodge are quite spacious, i always had a very hot shower (Bwindi can become very cold because of high altitude and the rainforest) and they always provided a hot water bottle at night. The food was nice but become cold so quickly, probably because of the weather."

"Vanaf het moment dat mijn man en ik aankwamen in de Bwindi Orugano Lodge, waren we helemaal weggeblazen door hoe mooi het was! Op de schoonheid, de personeelsleden in de Lodge waren topspot! We voelden ons volledig zorgvuldig voor de hele tijd - onze kamer was altijd schoon, het eten was uitstekend, en alle vragen werden snel beantwoord. Het enige wat ik had veranderd was langer te blijven."

"Mijn verblijf in Kaara Mountain Gorilla Lodge was precies wat ik nodig had. De accommodatie zit met een verbazingwekkend, ononderbroken uitzicht op Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Wachten tot dat vervelende bos en de bergen in de afstand is onvergetelijk. Het meest uiteenzwaaidde de vrede en de stilte. Het gebied is ongelooflijk rustig, met alleen de geluiden van vogels en de natuur om je heen. Het is het soort plek dat u onmiddellijk ontspanning en geestelijke vrede geeft wanneer u aankomt. De kamers waren schoon en comfortabel, met warme douches, goede bedden, en betrouwbare personeelsservice. Voor de prijs, de waarde is uitstekende krijg je een premieervaring zonder overbetaald. Perfect voor ontspanning na gorilla trekking. Verheugt u zich zeer voor paren, alleenstaande reizigers en iedereen die Bwindi bezoekt. Ik zal zeker terug zijn. Verbleven: November 2025 Naam: Paul"
