Hotels in District VIII-Jozsefvaros, Boedapest

De kamer was redelijk goed, heel bevredigend. De receptie van het hotel is ook erg gastvrij. Het hotel ligt naast het treinstation Oost, op ongeveer 100 meter afstand. Het is erg handig voor reizigers die de trein naar Oostenrijk en Duitsland moeten nemen. Het is ook erg handig om met behulp van Google Navigatie naar de regionale bezienswaardigheden van Pest te gaan, en de afstand bedraagt ​​minder dan 2 kilometer.

Delightful little hotel in a quiet but easily accessible area of Budapest. Rooms were clean, nice and warm. Heating could be adjusted to your own preference. Paid for Breakfast consisted of a Coffee of choice and two delicious warm croissants. There is a private courtyard for Al fresco drinking or chilling out. Highly recommend to friends and family.

Hotel had everything we needed and the staffs were really nice! It is also very near a metro station, supermarket, and good food. Only down side is that the carpet is slightly stained (might be hard to maintain), otherwise all other facilities was really clean and nice. Also note that it might not be for light sleepers as the road sounds are loud and every hour you’ll get big honking/sirens wailing.

Hotel was OK. I booked bigger room and was nice. Breakfast also OK. I read some negative reviews and is true, the bathroom need update. Also environment in hotel have some limits, eq. dirty elevator. Many info what is prohibited is doing unfriendly feeling. Eq. they gave me sign paper, where was indicated ”food from restaurant is prohibited to bring to the room - if explored, will be fined by 8 EUR”. Later I understand - the meaning was food from breakfast, but statement like that can make misunderstanding - could be better explained. Generally I liked hotel, also was walkable to city center.

The apartment complex is located on the corner of two quiet side streets. The nearest metro station, Blaha Lujsa-ter, as well as the Keleti train station, are easily accessible on foot. The new building, completed in 2026, is naturally still in good condition, very clean, and was presumably intended for apartment rentals. The apartments that are currently vacant are being rented out to tourists like hotel rooms. The booked breakfast for two people for two days was already there upon arrival, but unfortunately, the portions weren't very generous and were eaten on the first day. It seems we were expecting two more portions for the following day... Well, a little diet never hurt anyone! What was practically non-existent was the Wi-Fi, which only connected for a few minutes at a time before disconnecting again. The furnishings were rather spartan, which is due to the intended use as long-term rentals – the future tenants are meant to furnish the apartment to their own taste. The fairly large eat-in kitchen, estimated at 25 square meters, didn't feel particularly inviting as a result. The bedroom, with the necessary minimum distance between the double bed and the walls, was very cozy. The bathroom had a shower head built into the bathtub – a real challenge for anyone who showers without flooding the bathroom. The small balcony shouldn't be forgotten; it offers enough space for two people to enjoy the fresh air – and it's also a good place to dry laundry and umbrellas. Considering the many old, small, and worn-out hotel rooms out there, this is definitely a worthwhile addition, but not preferable to a true four-star hotel.

Toen het hotel in de nacht aankwam, leek het opgegeven vanwege het gebrek aan licht. Toen we het ontdekten, was er een stroomuitval; maar de receptie was wel goed en helpend. Zij bood ons dranken en snacks terwijl we wachten op de inchecking. Na een tijdje, toen de macht nog niet terug was, heeft ze een kamer voor ons op de grond geregeld. De kamer was ruime, comfortabele en uitgerust met basisfaciliteiten. In het algemeen is het een van de beste hotelopties in de buurt van Keleti Railway Station, maar een bus stopt met een korte wandeling.

The front of house were great. The cleaning and housekeeping service needs work. They do not have a do not disturb sign, so we had house keeping knocking on our door at 9am after a big night out in Budapest. Then when the rude housekeeper arrived, he dint touch the bed. Just changed the towels and did the bare minimum. Won’t be back based off of this experience.

The hotel itself is a beautiful blend of classic architecture and modern design, with elegant decor and a peaceful atmosphere throughout. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city looking for comfort, charm, and top-notch service.

Location is not exactly in the heart of the city, but it is not far away. Very clean and I personally love the facility and design of the hotel, the cherry on top is the heart warming service, overall definitely worth the price if you want a comfy and classy place to stay it's the one, but if you want a room with river view, maybe go with Intercontinental or marriot but their appearance does not look to nice

Prachtig hotel, lijkt vrij nieuw. Het atrium zorgt voor een aangename, lichte sfeer. Het receptiepersoneel was efficiënt. Onze kamer was vrij groot, met een raam, en er stond een waterkoker klaar - een pluspunt voor ons. De koelkast was ook handig. Onze kamer werd schoongemaakt toen we gingen ontbijten, maar we hadden geen bordje op de deur gehangen met de vraag om niet gestoord te worden - al onze spullen lagen nog overal en ik ruim graag op voordat de schoonmaker de kamer binnenkomt. Het ontbijt was voldoende, hoewel een grotere of t****e broodrooster een pluspunt zou zijn. Het was lang wachten terwijl verschillende gasten hun toast maakten. De koffie was warm, niet heet. De locatie is geweldig. Het ligt heel dicht bij de metro, de trams en de bussen. Met twee haltes met de metro ben je bij de Airport Express-bus. Het is gemakkelijk om je te verplaatsen. Ik zou zeker weer in het Atrium verblijven als ik terug zou keren naar Boedapest.
