Mercure Budapest City Center

Het is een heel mooi en schoon hotel met een uitstekende locatie in het centrum van Boedapest. Het personeel bij de receptie was vriendelijk, snel en behulpzaam. Ik kan zeggen dat alles in dit hotel uitstekend was, behalve het ontbijt dat veel beter had kunnen zijn. 1 - Eigenlijk niet veel keuzes om te eten. . . eerlijk gezegd niet veel keuzes die zo'n hotel normaal gesproken heeft. 2 - De warmste dingen om te eten of te drinken waren thee en koffie, maar niets anders. 3- Gebrek aan servers. Er waren maar weinig beschikbare servers die vrolijk en heel actief rondrenden om de tafels op te halen en schoon te maken nadat iemand was vertrokken, maar tijdens het ontbijt kwam er helemaal niemand gebruikte gerechten van de tafel halen. (Niet van de tafels, niet alleen de mijne)

Perfect location.perfect staff.normally checkin time is at 2 o clock.but we artived at 8am.i asked that can we check in now.they gived us a room.

The location is perfect, right and one of the shopping streets where you can walk to a lot of the attractions. The hotel has 2 exits where one is open 24/7 where the reception is and where you can be dropped off by taxi. The other is on the shopping street, closing at 22.00 because it is also where the hotel restaurant Winestone is located. The restaurant has a good variety of food and very friendly and diligent staff which goes for the whole hotel. The breakfast is not served in the restaurant, but on the 2. floor. It has eggs, bacon, bread, cheese, ham, cereal, yoghurt, small pancakes, fruit, a little bit of vegetables. Could have liked the hot food to be hot, it was seldom the case. The room was nice with safety deposit box, coffee/tea, 1 bottle of water each day, mini bar and shampoo + shower gel and hair dryer. The room was cleaned spotless every day! The room becomes a bit hot and it helps to open the window. Right now there is construction going on, so you don't want the window open while they work. In the ground floor there is a fitness room with a good variety of equipment. The front desk staff is very helpful. We used the cleaning service for having some shirts ironed. That worked very well.
