Customer service was 100%, staff could not do enough to make us feel welcome. Communicating direct with hotel before arriving as flights were late, then delayed, taxi organised with female driver, what’s app communication set up before departing flight. Asked for single beds as travelling with teenage grand daughter, all organised with a smile. (Georgina) Hotel was older, wood instead of plastic, curtains instead of blinds, which added to its charm. Rooms were clean, airy with little balconies (air con, but didn’t use it, I prefer fresh air). European breakfast (try the scrambled egg, it’s delicious), at serviced at a decent time. One day we were in a coach trip and had to get up early, we cheekily asked if we could have a packed breakfast instead, so very pleasantly surprised when it was there when we arrived at reception. As I have mentioned, all staff were amazing, helpful, from start to end. Thank you for making our trip so perfect. Tips: Uber was used, but very affordable, download the app to book, if outside, but if leaving from hotel, let reception book it, you get the price up front (in advance). Tubes (underground) you used your card, and just hop in and off. Didn’t get the opportunity to use the buses, it wasn’t very clear, how much or where they stop, so if you want to use them investigate before you go.
