I have given one star, but i truly would have liked to give no stars because this motel was micro in every way. We questioned the quality of the motel as we encountered along peeling railings and dirty steps, but persevered, knowing our room, confirmed by Wyndham, was as we requested, a roll-in shower in a handicapped room. After all, I had the paperwork to prove it. We checked in and were sent to a room on the second floor. A standard tub. My husband went down and returned with a second room key. Handicapped bars, but a tub we could not use. Down we went. "I have a confirmed email reservation," I told the clerk. "So sorry, but we only have one room like that and that room is reserved for a week," she replied. "Bur I have a confirmed email reservation," I repeated. "So sorry, but that room is booked," she insisted. My husband then called other establishments and finally found a room that suited our needs. When does a formerly respected company like Wyndham become so micro? When are confirmed reservations not honored? When do guests find themselves without a room? Perhaps Wyndham knows, but they will be full of micro-answers not worth a tinker's damn. Don't bother to listen.
