We stayed at this hotel when we were getting married, although we did not actually get married at the hotel itself we were still made to feel very welcome by all of the staff who were extremely pleasant & polite throughout our stay which made it even more memorable.

This hotel is set in stunning grounds and the building is beautiful. The real joy of staying here is the team, though, who are all absolutely lovely and make the place truly special.

Title says it all. Room was extremely dated, my double room was two single beds pushed together. Mattress was majorly uncomfortable as it was shaped in a C shape due to wear. They also claim to have “high speed WiFi” which they advertise on their booking sites, they fail to mention that the speed is no way near “high speed” it is 3mbps up and down… I won’t be coming back.

I booked for a family trip and thought we wouldn’t be spending much time in the hotel but it was so lovely we spent most of our time there. Gorgeous hotel, beautiful clean rooms. Staff was so helpful, food and bar were great. Definitely worth a trip.

This was our 3rd visit and it continues to be a welcoming comfortable hotel. The grounds are stunning. It’s well hidden up quite a narrow road, so is super quiet. The decor in the bedrooms is somewhat overpowering with a heavy use of different patterns. But the beds are comfortable and it’s all super clean. Downstairs in the lounge and dining room all is much more muted. The food and drink offering is very good, way above average. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is a little off the beaten track but in a great location, surrounded by countryside with lovely views. The Hotel was bright, clean throughout, had a nice atmosphere, a welcoming bar to sit and have a drink and the staff were helpful and friendly. My room was really lovely with a balcony and was very comfortable, breakfast was great and I will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful venue for a wedding reception. Lovely grounds. Service was excellent. Can't fault the layout of the reception room and surrounding outside seating area.
