Hotels bij Massachusetts State House, Boston

We spent a long weekend at this hotel. First, a free local shuttle express bus takes you from Logan Airport to Back Bay Station, which is just a four-minute walk from the hotel entrance. Check-in was smooth, friendly and efficient, and we were given our requested room. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with a fantastic view over Boston Bay. It had a spacious seating area, a large flat-screen TV, a full size in-room fridge, a spacious rain shower, and ice stations on each floor. The bed and bedding were of high quality, and there was a selection of pillows to choose from. One of the most impressive features of this hotel is the in-room security safe, which is rare in many US hotels. There are also excellent food and beverage facilities on-site, and an extensive room service menu. The housekeeping was of a high standard, and complimentary water was provided each day. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend signing up for the Marriott Bonvoy awards programme in advance of your stay. This will give you free WiFi for your entire stay. The hotel is located in downtown Boston, with easy access to Back Bay and Copley Square metros, the Boston Public Library, Prudential Centre, and many other facilities such as supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. I would highly recommend this hotel.  

Ik verblijf altijd in dit hotel als ik het vliegtuig neem. Er is een grote parkeerplaats en als u hier niet overnacht, zijn de kosten gratis. Het is dus heel gemakkelijk om de huurauto in te leveren, met de hotelauto terug naar het hotel te rijden en de volgende dag weer met de hotelauto naar het vliegveld te rijden. Het enige nadeel is echter dat er 's middags geen water of koffie in de lobby verkrijgbaar is, iets wat zeer ongebruikelijk is in de Verenigde Staten.

Het hotel ligt in het hart van Old Boston, direct naast Boston Common, het beginpunt van de Freedom Trail. Er zijn verschillende metrolijnen in de buurt, wat het vervoer erg gemakkelijk maakt. Het is ook niet ver van Boston South Station, op ongeveer 15 minuten lopen. De kamer was relatief klein, maar bood gemakkelijk plaats aan twee koffers van 20 inch. Het was erg schoon. Ik betaalde voor drie nachten via Ctrip en betaalde vervolgens $ 122 extra aan toeslagen en belastingen in het hotel. De receptie gaf me drie vouchers, elk ter waarde van $ 35, die ik kon gebruiken voor het ontbijt (mijn kamer was exclusief ontbijt). Er waren zeven of acht hoofdgerechten beschikbaar voor het ontbijt. De vouchers konden ook worden gebruikt voor drankjes, fruit, snacks, enz. Ik kreeg geen wisselgeld terug; alles boven de $ 35 werd van de kamerrekening afgeschreven en bij het uitchecken verrekend. Ik kreeg ook twee drankvouchers. De receptie van het hotel en het ontbijtrestaurant bevinden zich op de t****e verdieping, die 's avonds verandert in een bar. Mijn kamer keek uit op de straat, dus het was er wat lawaaierig. In de omgeving ligt Chinatown, met veel Chinese restaurants.

I highly recommend this hotel! I stay at various hotels throughout the world and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Staff were attentive and respectful, room was spacious, bathroom was spacious for a city hotel, everything was clean and location was great for many sites, drivers and subway/metro. I’m originally from Boston and Hotel Indigo will be top on my list for return visits. Comfortable bed, easy air con to adjust, plenty of towels. I always clean items like the remote control, phone and light switches with sanitary/bleach wipes before using them. I didn’t notice any dirt when cleaning these items…credit to the hotel’s hard working cleaning team! Thanks to the front desk team for an easy early check in and a quick check out!

We houden van alles aan dit hotel! Het ligt op een geweldige locatie, dicht bij redelijke parkeergarages, en The Trophy Room heeft heerlijk eten en drinken en geweldige barmannen. Sterk aanbevelen!

Excellent hotel. Recently renovated and has a very modern feel to the lobby. Also connected to Prudential center and tons of food options within 1-2 min walking distance as a result. Room is very clean and comfortable

Ik heb een fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit hotel en zou het zeker aanraden aan iedereen die Boston bezoekt. Ten eerste is het hotel brandschoon – alles, van de lobby tot de kamers, was uitzonderlijk goed onderhouden. De kamers zijn ruim en comfortabel, met dagelijkse schoonmaak waardoor alles tijdens mijn verblijf netjes en fris bleef. Het personeel was ongelooflijk behulpzaam en attent. Ik waardeerde vooral hun ondersteuning bij het verwerken van een levering die ik van Amazon verwachtte – ze deden er alles aan om ervoor te zorgen dat ik die soepel ontving. Een van de beste kenmerken van dit hotel is de grote parkeerplaats direct voor het gebouw. ​​Vergeleken met andere hotels in Boston was de parkeerprijs veel lager, wat voor mij een groot verschil maakte. Al met al is het een schoon, comfortabel en goed beheerd hotel met uitstekende service en een geweldige prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Ik zal hier zeker weer verblijven tijdens mijn volgende reis naar Boston.

I got two nights stay at the hotel. My experience was fantastic from check in to check out. I arrived a little before lunch as I was transferring from Westin right next door so I wasn’t sure if I had to wait until 4pm for checkin. The front desk staff took me in pleasantly without a fuzz, very thankful for that especially when I’m on a tight travel plan. The room was very spacious and clean plenty of clean bathroom supplies, shower was awesome with just the right water pressure. The only thing I would suggest is to just leave the complementary bottle water in room (especially during the summer season) as opposed to having to pick up at front desk (which I wasn’t aware until my friend told me who was also staying at the same hotel). However the room does have two bottles of water but they are priced. I did notice that the internet is not free if you are not a Marriott member (not sure if it’s a norm now days but I think Westin was free for hotel guest and both are under the same hotel Group, but it stood out in my experience with the Hotels as I just completed two weeks of travel right before the stay), so at Checkout I asked to ensure my member number is associated with my stay and the gentleman at the front desk kindly confirmed that the internet charge will be removed on final billing. That was a peace of mind for me. Very thankful again. Overall a comfortable stay and will revisit!

The hotel charges a $300 security deposit and an automatic 18% gratuity on any food/drink purchased. A bowl of oatmeal and coffee was $23. There is no breakfast buffet available. The rooms are tiny and designed very much like a cruise ship cabin, complete with bunk beds! There are no closets, drawers or counter space in the room and only 6 hangers (to hang clothes where?) I had to use the ironing board for toiletries. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom only by a curtain. (I wonder how couples feel about each other after staying there?) The only window is a floor-to-ceiling window in the bathroom so you can flash nearby shoppers as you step out of the shower. The heated towel rack in not within arm's reach of the shower and featured hard and frayed towels. The room featured a large TV that was surrounded by LED lights. No obvious switch turned off said LEDs, but apparently the round rainbow-colored emblem in one of the built-in cubby holes turned it off. On the plus side, the hotel is a half-mile from the Boston Convention Center. Also, travelers can take the Silver Line bus from Logan Airport to South Station (or one stop short of the station to this hotel) for FREE! The one-way trip back to Logan Airport is $2.40. There is a rooftop bar that features a nice city view.

Location of hotel is great! Near to Newbury shopping street and Prudential subway station. Hotel is clean and staff were friendly and helpful! Room was spacious and housekeeping was good too. Only negative experience was I can hear other guest rooms doors opening and slamming close early in the morning. Other than that, my entire experience was awesome in the very comfortable room!
