You know what you are getting with a premier inn. It was fine however a few things let it down. We booked a family room, we tried to ring the hotel to ensure we could have a cot in the room for our 2 year old daughter, however no one ever answers the phone at this premier inn it seems. No matter we asked at reception when. We checked in, the receptionist didn’t apologise for no one answering, she just said oh yeah it’s a big problem as some staff just don’t answer phones. However she said she would sort out getting a cot in our room whilst we went out that evening. We got back around 9pm to find no cot, we walked down to reception (no phones in rooms), and they said they had none left. So we ended up not sleeping much as our daughter had to be repositioned all night as she kept almost rolling off the bed. We have an electric car, the car park doesn’t have charging facilities, this isn’t a major issue but you’d have expected at least one charging bay with a charge point.
