Gekozen omwille van de nabijheid van het TGV-station. Zelden zo'n warm onthaal gekregen! Alle uitleg, inclusief stadsplan en kleine adviezen. De kamer was zeer ruim en proper. Het ontbijt ruim genoeg en lekker. Een kort maar onvergetelijk verblijf! Een aanrader!

Kamer was klein maar proper. Ales wat je nodig had was aanwezig. Ontbijt was uitgebreid, lekker en verzorgd. De gastvrouw gaf onze heel wat tips om de stad te ontdekken. Bij het uitchecken mochten we onze bagage stockeren tot s’ avonds. Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid.

Quiet, lovely space with excellent service and attention. Isabelle the owner is a treasure. Very close to Gare St. Jean. We were able to check in early and provided with excellent touristic advice. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. We very much appreciated the quality of our experience at this cosy home.

This excellent B&B is some 10 mins walk, and reasonably easy to find, from Gare St Jean railway station where you can link into Bordeaux's tram & bus network. The airport shuttle also terminates at GSJ. Stayed for 5 nights in a downstairs room which whilst basic was certainly both quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast. Nice host who can point you in the right direction for restuarants and things to do. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed just one night, my wife, my daughter and me. The house is very pleasant and the owner is very friendly and available. The room was perfect. We were able to park in an alley right next to the house. Very pleasant access via a bright, leafy courtyard! We warmly recommend this house.

Very good location close to the central station. Amazing friendly host, explains everything you need to know. Gives very good hints and addresses. Full delicious breakfast. You feel like at home and not in a hotel. It‘s very personal and intimate.

La Halte Montaigne is very well situated for the train station and trams to get into the centre of Bordeaux. It is a charming and spacious place to stay with substantial breakfasts. Isabelle was very knowledgable and took great interest and time in introducing us to the city and its attractions. We would whole heartedly recommend. Thank you.

This place is run by a very welcoming host who is knowledgeable and passionate about Bordeaux and surrounding areas, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a restful pleasant place to stay in Bordeaux, located within walking distance to Bordeaux St Jean, central train station.

Isabelle was a wonderful hostess. She helped us navigate our stay, tram is only 8 min. walk, laundromat 4 min. so convient to everything. Room was air conditioned, breakfast was yummy(oj, crossaint, fruit, coffee, tea, cheese) We'll be back.
