We were put in a room that smelled like a perfume shop, asked to be changed and were put in a room that smelled like sewage outside. The AC needs cleaning, the curtain kept getting stuck. Rugs in hallways are really bad- definitely need replacing. We had to bring in 2 air purifiers to make it through the night. No keys working for the rooms? Thats unheard of, definitely an inconvenience.

Room door locks did not work, every time you wanted to enter your room, a staff member had to open it for you, the shower did not have hot water, the furniture was full of bird poop, nasty and un able to use.

Excellent location. Rooms are tired, need updating. Hallway and carpeting smelled of food. The bed was very uncomfortable. Staff was pleasant.

Upon a Wednesday arrival for a 10 day stay, we were informed that no room keys would be available due to the system being obsolete. We were told the issue would be worked on/ resolved on Friday. It was not, it was truly a major inconvenience not to have a room key. Although, the staff was willing to let us into our room, we felt like we were intruding upon them. This is a management issue that should’ve been resolved as soon as possible. My sister stayed here in January and had no key. I thought it would’ve been resolved a month later. The rooms are clean but the rooms and property are in need of upgrades. It is a beautiful property otherwise.

Front desk staff was exceptional key card system has been down for over two weeks. Made Service sign was put on door daily. Had to ask for it on the third day. Furniture is worn and outdated. Couch was wet and stained.

The property staff was awesome and helpful. The property and rooms are ok but needs to be upgraded. The ac needs to work much better. The restaurant staff and food was great.

The property was very nice and clean. The hotel was undergoing renovations. The pool and beach area was beautiful, like a tropical garden.

I’ll start by saying I would stay here again. But the first night we were title disappointed by the conditions of the property and lack of amenities, the place is a just a little dated. And they had troubles with the key system. But the staff is super friendly and getting I to our room was not an issue at all. The Poblado is fantastic. The beaches awesome.

The property was wonderful for our 3-night stay in Boquerón. We stayed in the studio which was a typical hotel room with a kitchenette. It had a balcony and large bathroom. The kitchenette had a microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, and dishes so we could eat breakfast or reheat leftovers in the room. House keeping cleaned our room every day and the property was really clean.
This property is very convenient in that you can walk to the beach and into town. We appreciated not having to drive our car to those two places.
I only wish they would rent out a one-bedroom suite. The only options were the two bedroom or studio like we had. I would have liked a sitting area away from the bedroom but didn’t need a two-bedroom for two people. We used the balcony as a sitting area but both had to go to sleep at the same time.
But other than that, it was perfect and very economical.
