Little Drifter Bondi Beach

Very decent and nice place. The staff are very helpful. Check in system is very systemic and mature. Room and common area is clean. 1 min walking distant to Bondi Beach. Would definitely recommend!

There were cockroaches in the room, and the blankets had yellow stains and blood stains on them. The hotel did not provide towels, so we had to purchase from the hotel for 8 dollars each. They did not have a hairdryer in the room, and when we asked the front desk for one they required us to provide something valuable (like IDs or watches) in exchange that they would only return after we return the hairdryer - understandable but just absolutely ridiculous from the perspective of guests. They put us on the third floor but has no elevators in the hotel, so we had to carry check-ins (20+kg) up stairs :( We booked the family room (4 beds, ensuite bathroom), which was 170 dollars per night, really not cheap compared to rates at CBD, you could get 4 and even 5 stars hotels for similar rates there. Overall an extremely disappointing stay. Better to stay at central and travel to Bondi.

Booked little drifter bondi because I had a great experience in little drifter Melbourne but this really is a let down. Tiny hallway that can only fit through one person, room is so small with almost zero space for any suitcase and I upgraded to room with pod so I have some extra storage. Bathroom is very old and dirty with no view. Also no common area and is a 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Not a bad stay for a couple of nights but the hotel offers shared rooms that I wasn’t aware of. Very very noisy. Perfect location.

bathroom didn’t match the picture on the website when booking. walls are super thin and could hear people talking at 2am so not relaxing

We stayed on a private room which was very clean, new and the bed was very comfortable. The room was super small but it wasn’t a problem for us. The only issue with the room is that the shower part is the smallest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I’m short and haven’t had a problem but it’s too much anyway.

Location is fantastic if you are staying on bondi, walkable to beach and restaurants. Yoga and paint and sip were included. There was a nice kitchen to use and rooms to hang out in. The bathroom in the private rooms is very small. Toilet is basically in the shower, similar to a sailboat bathroom. Smelled a little moldy in the showers but other than that the room was clean. The only complaint was that it was SO loud. I had a hard time falling asleep and woke up from people being to loud. You hear everything so bring earplugs.

The hostel was perfectly located near Bondi Beach and restaurant/bar/shops. Quiet neighborhood, quiet hostel, and great staff. Cleaning wasn't spotless but very decent if you consider that is a backpackers hostel. I've got a room upgrade which enhanced the experience. Everything is through the phone. Don't forget to download the app before hand. Was a bit stressful to be sure to don't run out of battery.
