Hotel Tuscolano

Hotel is very basic and a lot more than we had thought, there are no tea/coffee facilities or room amenities such as hairdryer, iron etc. The bathroom was very small and the shower was simply a shower head above the toilet area and a shower curtain. There is no safe path upon leaving the hotel so we had to be careful of cars on the road and the nearest bus stop was around 15minute walk for me down a busy highway. We had to get a taxi once and the taxi driver thought that the hotel had been closed for some time as he never dropped anyone off and from the outside he thought it was closed. Rooms are very thin so we could hear other people banging and talking at 6am the first night which woke us up. Due to the national train strike, we weren't able to get back to the hotel on our second night of the booking until nearly 7am unbeknown to us . After having not slept for over 24 hours and been sat outside a train station for the best part of 8 hours as a disabled traveller, we had hoped for a little compassion and asked if we could check out later than 11am as we had a long day ahead travelling back home and three hours sleep just wasn't enough. I was told this simply wasn't possible as they were fully booked the following night. I understand it wasn't their fault but since I had already been told the cleaner wasn't starting until 1pm, it would have been a nice gesture to offer us the chance to get a little sleep and a later checkout (I offered to pay for a full extra night). Good points were that the room itself was clean enough when we got there and 24/7 hour checkout was helpful for late night arrivals.

This was a convenient hotel for a late arriving flight when setting off from Bologna the following day, or for staying the night before an early flight. It is a short journey by car from the airport. The staff are very friendly. The room we were given was basic. It was clean. The bed was very hard and did not provide a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was clean, and the water hot, which for a one night stay was really all we needed. The common passage ways of the hotel were not as clean as the rooms. In fact, they felt quite dirty. For this reason we were put off having breakfast, although when we had a quick look at the breakfast room it did look cleaner than the common passageways. It felt somewhat overpriced, but it was clean and the water was hot.

It's not walkable to the main attraction. Staff were amazing. The rooms were old and smelled like cigerette.

All was clean and nice. I had a car, parking was ok.

Convenient location near airport for early morning flight. Rooms are spacious and clean but this is a basic accommodation out of city popular with tradesman and those travelling.

Very clean and comfortable, staff courteous, good location even thought is not near to downtown.

Bologna in periodo di Fiere è impraticabile.... Cerca che ti ricerca per non andare a dormire ad Anzola o peggio a Castel San Pietro, la scelta cade su questa struttura economica e semplice. Che dire di un alberghetto a conduzione familiare, senza ascensore, su tre piani ? Camera abbastanza datata ma pulita, bagnetto piccolo e per fare una doccia si bagnava tutto, insomma buona notte e buon riposo. Colazione del mattino affollata al sottoscala.... magari poi passo al bar... Al pagamento aggiungono per due persone 9 euro di tassa di soggiorno... carucci per una notte di riposo a Bologna

Hotel come me lo aspettavo. Pulito, ampia stanza (doppia uso singola), bagno un po’ piccolo, ma sufficiente. Un po’ datato, ma tutto ben funzionante. Ha tutto ciò che mi serve. Personale molto gentile. Buona la colazione. Prezzo giusto. Portineria aperta 24h. Ci tornerei.
