I am a Bonvoy ambassador who had visited the the JW Bogota in the past. This review reflects my second stay in Dec 2023. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of previous visits. Arrived to the hotel at 4:30pm, room was not ready, and were advised room key would be delivered to lounge. Lounge offerings were minimum, and after a 30 min wait, decided to dine in hotel restaurant. It was early, and there were five full tables. Waited 40 min to receive food after ordering and meals were cold. After receiving the meal, it took another ten min to get the attention of the waiter for reheating. In all, service delivery and food quality was not memorable. Zero service recovery was offered. Now, approx. 6pm, returned to the front desk for room keys, success they were now avail, even though we arrived after published checkin time. We were please to receive a room upgrade to a jr exec suite, the room upgrade we’ve received as an ambassador during prior visits. Decided to go to the executive lounge for drinks. To our surprise, liquor selection was different from previous stays, even one week earlier offered a larger selection. I had one drink my husband two. Returned to the lounge for two additional and was advised there was a two person drink max, and would be charged for both. Again, we only ordered three drinks earlier, this was explained, but the lounge attendant insisted in expensing to our room. This was a one stay, frustrations were communicated at checkout and received a thank you. Historically, I traveled through Bogota intentionally as I have come to enjoy time at the JW. This experience will prompt me to seek alternatives.

Not recommended for the most expensive €350 Bonvoy hotel in Bogota. Everything is a bit shabby. For us as Titanium members we only got an upgrade to a higher floor because the hotel was apparently full. However, you could still book suites via the app. During our stay there was no water one night and it was very loud, the staff slammed the doors for 2 hours in the morning so sleeping was out of the question. There was no apology whatsoever from reception and certainly no discount. What I found really strange was that there were only 2 alcoholic drinks per person in the lounge during happy hour. I have never experienced anything like it. They cut corners wherever they can - but the room prices are exploding. I would book a different hotel next time. Both Four Seasons hotels look nice.

My first time visiting Colombia and Bogota was the destination to attend the Luis Miguel concert. I do not normally stay at JWs, but decided to because of it's location to every adventure we were to experience that week. Our room Junior Suite on the executive 8th floor, was ready when we arrived. The hotel is decorated very nicely and well maintained. The only downer was the Asian restaurant in the hotel was closed. I was looking forward to that experience. The JW location is exceptional because of it's location and the great staff (Front desk, housekeeping, door personnel and executive lounge). The executive lounge crew was exceptional. We only ate one meal (breakfast) in The Market Place and was not impressed with the staff. We ordered coffee and tea, we noticed others that came in well after we were seated received their coffee and tea before we received ours. We had to ask three times before we received our drinks. They didn't even bother to check if we wanted jucie etc! As a seasoned veteran traveling to many countries over the past 48 years that service was unacceptable. But we didn't complained we just moved on and said let's stick to the Executive Lounge and they did not disappoint us. The food at the JW is very good. The executive crew was very attentive and fun to interact with. The door staff made sure all our questions were answered and made us feel welcome each time we came through the door. Thank you for recommending Restaurante Daniels, directing us to the different malls. within walking distance and getting taxis for us each time we needed one. I highly recommend this JW Marriott in Bogota!

I highly recommend this Marriott Hotel in Bogota! I’ve stayed here for a week for a vacation with my mom and my sister. This was the first time for us in Bogota and by far it’s the best hotel in Bogota or probably the Whole country of Colombia. I visited Medellin as well but this hotel in was accessible and exceptional because not just the location that is accessible nearby but also the excellent restaurants inside the hotel and also with the exceptional services from all the hotel staff from the Rockstar Front desk staff, hardworking Housekeeping staff and especially with the outstanding Restaurants staff esp. @ The Market and their executive lounge crew! They pampered their guests and rendered a Great quality Service! No doubt, I will definitely stay back at this five star hotel with Great amenities, So when in Bogota, booked your stay @ JW Marriott Bogota Hotel and Spa! I want to highlight the amazing customer service from Johan Gutierrez he was more than kind and amazing with me and my mom. Also Johanna Castellanos , Andres Alvarez and Génesis García. All of you guys are amazing keep rocking. JW Marriott should be proud of all of you. I wouldn't give a 10/10 to the hotel customer service because one of the employees has a nasty attitude with me and my family, his name is Christian Pérez his responses and attitude were very disrespectful, every time me and my family approached the reception he wasn’t nice at all until the point that if I have a question I waited for Johanna instead of asking him. Fortunately he was the only staff member out dozens employees with that behavior. I definitely recommend this hotel.

It was a very memorable stay. We got to the hotel late but upon check in I found out that the GM Michel Albahari had upgraded all 3 rooms to a suite with one being the Presidential suite. I am a titanium member. Christian, at check in remembered me for my last visit in Dec 2022. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. First night the restaurant Circo closes at 11pm. They graciously stayed open until 1130 for us to finish our dinner. There’s nothing to not love about the staff or the hotel here. If you’re visiting Bogota make this your first and last choice.

Very nice stay for a 4 night visit to Bogota. It's a full service business hotel with great bathrooms, comfortable beds, and attentive staff. Muted tones and quiet hallways. The lobby bar could be a little more lively but the drinks were good and the hotel is walkable to lots of restaurants and bars in Chapinero.

I stayed at this hotel, and in one night, I got disturbed by the couple living next to my room, because they were playing music and laughing loudly. I called the front desk several times, but the front desk did nothing, even the overnight manager lied that the secure department went up and talked to the guests, but I was standing at the door, nobody was there. Eventually, the overnight manager asked me to change to a smaller room and offered compensation. The next day I went to the front desk, the staff said that no compensation will be provided, since I closed the door at the front of the overnight manager, and she said this was rude. And the front desk continuously complained how rude I was only because I closed my door at the front of the manager, without saying neither bad words nor f words. The people who actually did things wrong, they could still enjoy their room service the next morning, without any complaints from the front desk. The staff from the front desk she said that she only believes the manager, because they were professional, which means that they don't trust their customers and thinking they are professional. I asked her, did you check the video, she said no. Then at the time you don't have proof, how can you judge your customer, who actually paid for the service? As a Asian ethnicity, I was treating unfairly and continuously got slandered by the staff. If you are not local people, please really consider if you want to stay at one hotel full of racism.

Our driver from JW Marriot Alberto Ossa was a fantastic driver. Very friendly and safe he got us there on time and was such a pleasure! Thanks again for such a great experience! Give this man a raise!
