I really like the hotel, you can relax there and enjoy your vacation. The food is great

We had a great vacation at the Barcelo, the only thing is the food after 2 weeks was very tiresome. I had one of the best dinners ever at a specialty restaurant and one of the worst at the same restaurant 5 days later. So there is a lack of consistency that should be addressed by the head chef.
You could not ask for better quality in the staff at the hotel from our wonderful lady that made my husband’s omelette in the morning to the excellent concierge that made our stay so special. We want to thank her for all efforts to make us happy.
The adult pool is one of the nicest that I have seen.
WiFi connectivity in our room wasn’t great and could be improved.
Overall we would absolutely love to return for another vacation. Maybe next year.

We really enjoyed our stay. We just wish they had more authentic Mexican food instead of American food.
The rooms are so spacious and loved how all the rooms faced the ocean.

Facility is awesome. The food has good presentation but no taste. The biggest problem I had at the facility was the lack of Wi-Fi. There is Wi-Fi, but it’s sporadic and low signal. Unable to utilize zoom. Not able to connect to Facebook and can barely achieve checking email. Most the time to have any signal you have to go to business class basic bracelet does not get you in there and you’re limited to five meals out of the time of your stay.. if you don’t book those meals, first thing in the morning, the same day, you are limited to eating at the buffet. Were great the grounds were lovely. You cannot ask for a better view and access to the beach. The staff and support were quality. Wi-Fi at the airport is superior to Barceló and that is where I am doing this survey. I was unable to connect on hotel Wi-Fi.

This hotel was beautiful. Staff was great. Although the food was bluh and you could only make reservations for the specialty restaurant in the morning for same day. If you were t first you either didn’t get in or the times were Adler we 9pm. If the food and drinks were better I’d totally recomd.

The staff was great! However every day we had paint, paint chips and dry wall on our balcony. The food was mediocre at best. The WiFi was non existent. If you want to work good luck getting any signal at all. There was no hair dryer or iron in the rooms. we traveled with 5 other couples not one of us had a great experience.

We requested a room with a king bed, we got a room with 2 full size beds😕they said they had no other king rooms available. Their answer was to push our beds together. I turned on the lamp and the shade fell off, it was obviously broken. No hair dryer in room had to call twice to get one and when I finally did, it was broken. Room definitely needed a lot of cosmetic fixes. Disappointed as this was our second time at Barceló the first time was amazing. A bit disappointed for the “premium” level .

The property is beautiful and quiet. The food is good. Drinks are good. The staff was very friendly. The nightly shows were so much fun. Great atmosphere. Pools were great too. Room was nice and always cleaned. The only complaint I have is the stairs for going into the pool are very slippery. I slipped and fell one of the days getting into the pool. Then the next day I saw someone else slip and fall exactly like I did. I think they should put something on the stairs so they aren’t so slippery. Other than that, I highly recommend and I would definitely stay again I would just be extremely careful using the stairs for the pool.
