Blue View Chalets

Beautiful open water view from deck and from 3 of the 4 bedrooms. Convenience store and a nice specialty grocer called Surf and Turf across the street. Short drive to Blue Mountain Village and other amenities. Management was quick to respond to any issues. Furniture was quite worn and didn’t live up to rest of property. But otherwise a good spot.

It was just perfect and accomading us for the time as we were there for a Friday wedding the only thing was tv was not working for the children

We rented Chalet #5 Corona and Chalet #6 Stella for the Thanksgiving long weekend. The Chalets are located in a very desirable area and have ample parking. They are 3 floors each and the Living Room, Kitchen is on the top floor with cathedral ceilings and an open concept. The main floor when you walk in has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a sauna, laundry room, coat storage and access to the outdoor hot tub. The lower floor has 3 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Chalet #5 Corona was clean and fresh smelling. It had been updated with paint in more recent years and had a more modern feeling. The Sauna did not work and the water level was low in the Hot tub but no other complaints. Had plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable . Chalet #6 Stella had seen better days. She needed a fresh touch up of paint and cleaning. There were ripped couch cushions and burnt out bulbs. Windows that did not open/close properly with broken screens along with dead insects in the sills. The kitchen had limited pots for cooking and dirty baking sheets. The chalets had tons of space for everyone and the sheets were silky soft. The stairs became a bit too much for our older family members so something to keep in mind. Overall we all had a really great time at the Blue View Chalets and would recommend to anyone but hope to see some property repairs done soon.

Had a great time been coming here for 13 years in a row except during Covid snd always have a great time .

Stayed here for a few days over the August long weekend. It's in a nice, quiet location away from the village. It was about a 20 min walk to the village, although we did get a warning about walking on a golf cart path. The pool and hot tub was a nice feature to have. The property has a nice layout and is a nice size for large groups, but is showing signs of age and wear. Loose cabinet handles and towel racks, missing mirror in an ensuite, frying pans with chipped teflon. The bathroom were showing the worst of it with mildew in the corners and slow draining sinks. Upper main level gets hot in the summer and could do with a couple of floor fans or something to circulate the air. Property manage was pleasant to deal with and answered any questions we had promptly.

The property is in a great location. But the building itself is old, run down and not well The basement of the chalet was cold and damp and smelly. It was somewhat clean but the appliances were missing parts and the stove/oven was filthy. I would never recommend this property to anyone vacationing with a family. There was a lack of utensils, cooking pots and absolutely no supplies. Tell people online they need to bring tin foil, Saran Wrap, zip lock bags, Tupperware. There were no bbq utensils and not even one pair of scissors or bbq lighter. No clocks in any of the rooms. The grounds were a disaster - tall ****s everywhere - everything overgrown and a pipe running out the back of the deck spewing out dirty water made it impossible to even walk on the grass. The deck was dangerous we were afraid to let the children go out on it. Black mold and splintered boards. On a positive note - the beds were well made with fresh linens. Towels were fresh but well worn. The swimming pool was very much enjoyed by the children.

Great property and location. Management team very responsive. As with most big cottages that have bedrooms on the lower floors, upper living/dining area can get very hot even with AC freezing the lower floors.

Perfect for what we needed, lots of space for everyone

The chalet was amazing. Very clean , organized and great location. I will recommend this to anyone and will definitely rent this chalet again. Everything was supplied, bed linens, towels soap , etc. wifi worked.
