Wat fijn was; De medewerkers die het echt fijn vinden om je een fijne tijd te bezorgen. De heerlijke bedden. Met een “kussenmenu” De mooie tuin. Het zeer goed gevulde ontbijtbuffet dat echt tot het einde bijgevuld blijft. Meerder soorten sapjes. En een kwartier nadat het officieel is gesloten, een medewerker komt vragen of je misschien nog een kopje koffie wilt. De ruime selecte aan biersoorten in de bar. De parkeergarage hoewel je daarvoor geluk moet hebben. Je kunt niet reserveren. Als hij vol is moet je ergens anders parkeren. En grotere auto’s passen er niet in. De leuke buurt. Welke kant je ook oploopt, in elk straatje zit wel iets van leuke horeca. Ga vooral ook bij de buren eten: Donath. Ze krijgen niet zulke goede beoordelingen op diverse internet sites maar ze hebben net een nieuwe chef-kok en een nieuwe crew. Wij hebben er heerlijk gegeten.

What a fantastic place, the staff were brilliant. Rooms basic but very comfortable and warm as it was -2 outside. My first holiday on my own since my wife passed so a bit nervous, no need, the staff were warm and friendly, bed comfy, very clean. Breakfast was nice not the topical food I’m used to but yes very nice set me up for the day to walk around Berlin. A minute walk to Metro €3 to the centre of Berlin excellent. Loads of people speak English very well so I had no problems with museums and food. They even help me get my return flight ticket down loaded as I’m an ***** with computers.

Stayed with wife. Room cozy, yet spacious for two. Bathroom modern. Elevator fast. Lobby, breakfast/nightcap area (inside and outside) very nice, relaxing. Lots of nice details. Breakfast outstanding! Neighborhood is safe, quiet and near everything. Easy to get to hotel via Berlin subway. Night staff multi lingual. No issues communicating with staff even though we spoke no German.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They are willing to take your money but not provide a advance fully paid room. My husband and I paid for the hotel in full for 2 nights before traveling to Berlin. We had a travel complication and were not able to check in the first night and had no means of communicating with the hotel. When we showed up on the second day to check in, we were turned away because the hotel was fully booked and our paid room was given away. We were told that because we didn't check in, they sold our room to someone else. Bizarre. The room was paid and reserved for us. We explained that because we are traveling from another country, we could not contact the hotel, room was paid, we had a travel delay. The receptionist yelled at us and told us that they cannot do anything about it and to leave. They refused our refund. We had to pay an astronomical price to find a last minute hotel.

This is a nice hotel in a convenient and attractive area, but our disappointment relates to how we were treated by the manager. We informed the hotel about our late arrival and we asked for a quiet room. The room we were given was on the first floor, on the main road and the window didn't close properly. My wife suffers from severe insomnia, so we asked for a different room. The person at reception was from an agency and said she didn't have access to the system to change the room. She rang the manager/owner, who suggested a single room on the top floor. We stayed in the initial room and had a bad night. The following morning the manager/owner was very aggressive to us and said 'thank you for waking me up at 1 o'clock in the morning'. We accepted a move to the smaller room on the top floor, after which our room was never cleaned (we stayed for 4 nights), although we asked several times. We were just shocked at the lack of professionalism and kindness of the manager. The rest of the staff were very nice, however.

Room was good.
But it was really ridiculous that they didn't clean the room once in 4 days of stay.
Sorry, that is unacceptable for that price.

We stayed here for 3 nights recently. The rooms are clean practical and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. 2 stops on the U-Bahn and you’re in AlexanderPlatz. There are also some lovely restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Would definitely recommend a stay here for a good value, independent hotel

Great little hotel in fantastic location. Close to parks, ships and lots of restaurants. Nice garden area to sit in, shed in the garden to safely store our bikes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean, bright and stylish room. Breakfast was good- cereals, cheese, bread, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs etc. great value for money.
