Henri Hotel Berlin

We verbleven 9 nachten in Henri hotel Berlijn. Ten eerste is het belangrijk om te weten dat de foto's online enorm beter zijn dan die van het hotel in het echt, omdat het eigenlijke hotel er in vergelijking helaas saaier en saaier uitziet. We zouden willen dat we na de eerste paar nachten hotels hadden verplaatst, maar we wilden het ongemak dat we van het personeel daar voelden niet verder vergroten. Het personeel heeft geen begrip van klantenservice of training over hoe om te gaan met drukke perioden. We kregen meerdere keren op zeer onvriendelijke toon te horen dat we moesten wachten of niet geholpen konden worden omdat er niet genoeg personeel beschikbaar was. Als dit met enige vriendelijkheid of sympathie was ontvangen door ons te willen helpen genieten van ons verblijf, had dit misschien een verschil gemaakt. De manager daar is, net als haar team, kortaf, ongeduldig en niet in staat enig vermogen te tonen om de echte troost van de klant te herkennen. Misschien om beter te leren dat een gast er is om van zijn verblijf/hotel te genieten, en om te ervaren, vooral wanneer iemand zoveel nachten verblijft, om een ​​beetje extra moeite te doen om ervoor te zorgen dat hun comfort nodig is

It was our third visit to Berlin and thought it would be nice to stay in West Berlin instead of Mitte or further east. Plus, we were looking for a hotel with character and a different vibe than the modern hotels. Henri Hotel did not disappoint! The location was convenient (although a little further from the popular tourist attractions). We enjoyed the look and feel of the hotel. The breakfast was lovely and the service was friendly and non-pretentious. A few minor issues, but none didn't impact our overall enjoyment. We had a spacious room with a balcony, which we loved, but could have better storage. The bathroom is functional, but on the small side and needs a little updating. The noise-proofing is not adequate: we were woken up twice at 6 am by housekeeping staff. We enjoyed our stay at the Henri Hotel.

This is a lovely place to stay. 1920s style decor with lovely high ceilings. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with lots of choice and their own honey. An honesty bar, coffee and tea. Our room was great. Beds super comfortable. The shower had great pressure!

It is somewhat historical hotel with the atmosphere of the bohemian past!!! Beautiful interiors complemented by very friendly professional staff! I had a very pleasant time! Wholeheartedly recommended!!!

Second time staying in this lovely hotel. It has character, history and a faded beauty to it. Its a very comfortable place to stay. Ideally situated near to the Ku-damm with plenty of good restaurants nearby.

I booked for the Berlin Marathon, by subway, you get to the starting line in 15-20 minutes, with a single line change, pretty easy. Neighborhood was pretty, quiet and safe, there are stores, cafés, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The main door was closed almost every time I had to enter, and it was a little annoying to keep on knocking the doorbell to enter into the building, but I understand the safety measures. People in reception, always polite. Elevator is small, and the floors are a little noisy, but it's now bad. The only thing I'd say to be careful is this: if you have issues with night noises that prevent you from sleeping, be careful, you can listen to all the steps from the people above you (if you're in that room situation), and it's impossible to have a quiet night if you neighbor just keep walking and wandering in its room, it happened to me, and it was pure suffering, bring earplugs. Also, maybe the rooms need an improvement for the key management, the keyring is extremely heavy and not very practical if you're a tourist, I had to take it off from my keys, to be honest. Overall, a good place.

Great location near Kurfuerstendamm and central Berlin. Excellent breakfast, and the Abendbrot light evening meal which is offered is very nice. I had a quiet room facing the planted area of a courtyard and that was wonderful. Above all, it was the very friendly and helpful staff that helped me have a great stay there.

This property has also a great self-service breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Hotel Henri is a cute boutique hotel in a busy touristy area of Berlin. The notable positives: staff are very kind and attentive to needs of guests. The room had very cool antique decor and a neat vintage aesthetic. Came with a neat writing desk and postcards to send home. The notable negatives: The rooms (at least ours) had some design flaws, particularly the bathroom. The bathroom was built as an interior addition within the room, up on a platform (not marked with any bright tape), and my partner stubbed her toe multiple times. The shower door didn't close and leaked all over the floor every time. Closing the blinds meant cutting the room off from windows completely and losing any fresh air. Minibar door didn't appear to close completely. The room didn't come equipped with a fan (during the summer heat) but the staff were more than happy to provide one! I think our biggest disappointment was the surrounding neighborhood which is kind of akin to Times Square in NYC (i.e. busy and boring), but the hotel's very unique design and wonderful staff made up for that.
