The dining experience was enjoyable, though there were a few misses on the menu. The rooms could use some improvement as they had a slight sewage odor due to recent issues, which have thankfully been resolved. However, the excellent service compensates for any shortcomings. In summary, it's a decent mid-tier resort, especially suitable for families with children.

I am excited for this resort until I got there. First of all I didn’t get the room I book which was a room with jacuzzi on the terrace. Second my room was not ready until 4:30 pm , that’s an 1.5 hr pass check in time. Third my room had MOLD and leaking water from the AC. I made the complaint on my first day yet the staff disregarded my concern and said the didn’t see mold. I have pictures, and the scent was unbearable. I am very dissatisfied. I ask for another room was told they were booked and that they would put an air purifier. It help the scent for a while but the leaking water remain. BEWARE OF THIS.

We stayed here 5 years ago and loved it. This time around, it was a little different. Check in was horrendous. Got there at 2- was told the room would be ready at 3. At 3, they said 4, at 4 they said there was a “mechanical issue” and wouldn’t be ready until 7. After basically putting up a fight for 30 minutes, they miraculously had our room ready. The waiters at the restaurants were so nice and kind and helpful. The bar tenders and pool staff were not. One told my husband that he couldn’t get a drink bc the bar didn’t open for 10 more minutes. My husband asked why- and the bar tender said -fine I’ll make your drink- a pina colada- but instead of blending it, he just poured the liquid in a cup, added ice and stirred it and said you Americans just eat at the buffet and then come get drinks right after. My husband threw his drink away and said- maybe they didn’t tell you but it’s all inclusive and maybe you shouldn’t work in hospitality if you hate people.

I was very happy when booking this property because i booked a luxury suite with jacuzzi on the terrace. This is the only reason i booked this hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 7am. Was provided my room key bracelets and told to come back at 3pm because that’s when check in was. Which was understandable but being that i was already given my key bracelet i assumed all they had to do was clean my room and it was waiting for me. I come back during check in hours and was told my room wasn’t ready and to come back in an hour, when i come back in that hour my room still isn’t ready. So i then come back at 5pm and was told my room was given away. They told me they were going to upgrade my husband and I to a luxury suite on the all adult side. I did not want the suite because it wasn’t comparable to what i asked for. It didn’t have the jacuzzi and the supervisor told me that it did. It also smelled like mildew so bad and had mildew on all the mirrors. Tried to take a bath to relax but the water was yellow eeewwwww. So i complain about the supposed “upgrade” and they say they are going to accommodate me the following night to the room that i actually booked. I went down to front desk at 1pm the next day and they say the room isn’t ready. I had an excursion to go on so the room not being ready until 3pm was fine. We get back from the excursion around 6pm and was told that our room was given away AGAIN!!!! So we have to stay another night in the mildewed room. We were never accommodated.

Room and view was spectacular. The food and service was excellent. Freddie through out the day was fun and kept us entertained at the pool most definitely would return to this resort

I did not like the fact that when we check in our room was not clean properly. I informed them about the room being dirty, it took them 3 days to clean it than we switched rooms and they put us in two double beds, we paid for a King size. That room was dirty too, I had bug bites, look like bed bugs bites, I’m not sure what was biting me, I informed the resort they didn’t seem to really care. They switched us to another room and I still was getting bites on my legs arms and hand. The food was okay best food was the omelettes from the buffet, The Zen teriyaki restaurant was good that the hibachi grill and they cook in front of you. The Dorado seafood restaurant was good as well, we ate there a lot. You have to be in the hideaway in order to eat at that restaurant. The buffet had good dinner options too! I did love the spa and gym was a really good size. I will not be back to this resort. It located in the woods so it’s secluded in the way from the main roads. If you wanna leave the resort you have a pay a taxi or get transportation from the resort. If you book excursions, it comes with transportation. The drinks was good, some of the staff had good customer service and some didn’t. I loved our concierge Jacqueline she was the best she made everything perfect for my husband’s birthday. She also decorated the room for us and brought beer for him. She really made our stay better than what we was experiencing. Our friends had cockroaches in their room as well!
