The waiting staff consistently disappointed, often misleading us. Despite assurances, entrees never arrived after appetizers, and promised shrimp platters were denied later. Bottled water was scarce, its availability tied to tipping. Dining in groups meant extra expenses for wine bottles. Initially placed far from the action, we moved rooms after a night. March break brought rowdy crowds, disrupting nights. Room service went unanswered. Buffet was varied; Zen Japanese restaurant was good. Service at the steakhouse was slow. Spaghettini meatballs resembled soup. Live bands were enjoyable, but a DJ left abruptly one night. Limited ice cream flavors and coffee shop sandwiches need improvement. Loungers required a 5 am reservation. Some alcohol tasted foul. Pool bartenders ran out of ice. Despite highlights like the buffet and select restaurants, inconsistencies marred the experience.
