Went for Valentine’s Day, the service was poor. They were not attentive to our needs. There were charges to my card that I did not have. Not all bad, the buffet and swim out bars were okay. I do not recommend, for the price!

The hotel was amazing! The staff and service on the other hand, was pretty disappointing. When we got to our room, we noticed that there were no robes or slippers as advertised and we called to see if they could send us some and they said yes… they never showed up. After spending our first night there we were expecting our rooms to be cleaned and to have clean towels. The only thing that was made was the bed. We had no towels. We called and to our surprise, we WAITED almost 2 hours for towels which took time away from being around the resort. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon which we were really not expecting anything special since we never mentioned it prior checking in. Around the hotel, the staff is CONSTANTLY asking you where you’re coming from and what were we celebrating. We took that chance to tell everyone that we were celebrating our honeymoon. (Since they all were asking) and they made SO many promises to us. Supposedly we were going to get a wine bottle sent up to our room, have a little surprise in our room and supposedly they decorated it too. We had none of that. We weren’t so mad about it because we weren’t expecting anything since the beginning but they hyped it up so much and made us very excited that we got a little disappointed when we never received anything. Another thing was that we had ordered breakfast for room service and IT NEVER SHOWED UP! We kept called and staff would just say that they would look in to it. Don’t depend on the staff

The property was amazing. The food was so so..other that the beach was pretty, the rooms were super pretty, the staff was friendly, check in was easy... we had diamond club and it was worth it

We booked ocean view and got pool view, we booked king bed and got queen bed. I requested birthday banner they didn’t put it.

The food and facilities was awesome. The staff very professional.
We weren’t able to use our 300$ credits because every time we tried they Said we couldn’t.
Also the tours were excellent except the information given to us was misleading and it created some major frustration which we didn’t pay for.

Had an amazing experience/ it’s a beautiful property with a very pleasing staff. The restaurants were really good and offers you a good choice. My favourite was Indian( taj) and the best customer service was from Diego (Taj restaurant). He went above and beyond to offer the best service. It’s a kid friendly property. I would highly recommend.

this was our second stay at the Royalton. both of our visits were at the diamond club. The facilities this year compared to last year have declined. There has been a sewage odor that developed. There was mold, located in my room. They were unable to change my room. Otherwise, the service staff was very accommodating. food was still excellent. Pool facilities were clean and maintained.

Ugh this place has such potential and just falls so flat in so many ways. I wanted to love it and it kept giving us reasons to hate it.
DO NOT waste your money on Diamond Club and all the things promised, like a butler and 5 star service. It was complete BS.
1. Staff - either a hit or miss. Half of them were wonderful/helpful/friendly and the other half were pretty much the exact opposite.
2. Logistics & procedures - CONFUSING. I can't book dinner in advance? Wait, I can, but the butler has to? But only 1 day in advance? But the steakhouse is booked for the week already? Etc etc etc. Every rule there seemed to change each day.
3. Our "butler" saw us a total of like 3 times in a week and helped with exactly nothing. Room service helped with nothing. Housekeeping, same story. And these were simple requests, like "can you bring up 2 blankets" (called three times and texted the butler and called the diamond club room...took over 24hrs just to get one blanket), "our room has no food or water in it, can it please be restocked" (I asked 5 times in 3 days and it literally never happened).
4. The food was also a (50/50 of whether it was going to be edible or not. Also, every single adult and one child in our party got food poisoning.
Positives:
The staff and food at the steakhouse and the Italian restaurant. Wonderful. Great people, great food.
The look of the hotel and beach in general...the place is drop dead gorgeous. Hence, wasted potential.
Definitely would not return.
