Hotel Servigroup Calypso

Un fin de semana excelente muy limpio , muy buena atencion y muy buen desayuno.

Visiting on Wednesday and Sunday for Sequence dancing in the evening. Carlos is an excellent keyboard player and plays some of my favourite tunes to dance for sequence dancing. He mixes Ballroom and Line Dancing in his set so there is something for everyone. On Friday Chema plays a mix of recorded tracks for ballroom, Sequence and Line dancing.

Another fabulous stay at this wonderful hotel ! I really can't say enough about it , the staff ,everyone of them goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and you feel like your on holiday with friends .The food is exceptional and every meal we had was a delight .The rooms could do with a little upgrading but this is minimal compared with every positive this hotel has to offer and most of the guests are repeat guests that have been many, many times before it is by far my favourite hotel in Benidorm

Used the Calypso Terazza for drinks and entertainment by Shaun Elliot Wed, Fri and Sundays. Really good light hearted entertainment. Bar staff excellent, particularly Lawrence and Marko. Free tapas with drinks. Can recommend for a good afternoon.

This 3star hotel is outstanding, food is well beautiful something for everyone, always red hot and clean too, the cleanliness in again superb! The bedroom are a little need of update but clean everyday clean towels too. The pool is spacious and always beds to get, pool is great, now the entertainment is the down point for this, Shaun who does stuff around the pool is absolutely terrible, he can't sing, microphone always cutting out, outdated games, always shouting at is daughter who does the music, honestly it's crap! The dj on a Saturday around the pool was fine wasn't loud and played mixture for everyone.... get rid of SHAUN...ASAP.... also the big screen around pool needs a new one, flickering and half a picture, we went out for football...

Been going here for the last 10 year and loved it up until now. Here are a few reasons this time was different. 1-Before they never allowed hen/stag parties but now they do and they were very disrespectful to other guests drinking from GLASS bottles and tumblers at pool side, one guy even offered an “entertainer” a drink from his bottle and he just laughed at him. 2- Entering the dining room you can wear anything you want, they never used to allow vests, wet swimming shorts or bikinis but now no one cares, you can wear what you want. 3- Rooms need to be up dated, furniture very old and bathrooms outdated, a fresh lick of paint wouldn’t go a miss. 4- Entertainment very poor apart from Showaddywaddy gold their pretty good, the rest RUBBISH. One “entertainer”can’t even sing a song in full as he misses out some words and as for his pool party, oh dear, how these people can call themselves “entertainers” is beyond me. 5- Food gone down hill, not as good as what it used to be it’s just basic stuff. 6- Smokers and Vapor’s can smoke and vape at entrance of the terrace bar and smoke comes right back in to building and not one staff member asks them to go further from the building. To me this hotel is slowly going down hill and desperate for money. Please consider these points if you want to have a good hotel in Benidorm.

From checking in to checking out, this hotel was very impressive. Free safety deposit box, never had that before! The room was a little on the small side but we managed fine as a couple. Spotlessly clean, maid service daily with fresh bed linen and towels every day. There was no noise from the main ***** and the hotel is right on the roundabout of the *****. We have been to Benidorm 5 times now and this is the best hotel we have been to by far! We usually go 4 stars but this was classed as 3 star and I don't know how! Amazing! The food was the best I've had on a holiday. A good mix of British and Spanish cuisine. The roast beef dinner was so good, proper Yorkshire puddings and the beef was so tender! The full English breakfast had English sausages and bacon, very good. The best part of the restaurant was the Mr Whippy ice cream machine, we couldn't get enough. All the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for the guests. I was worried prior to arrival, when I received an email from jet2 stating building work was going on at the hotel next door. Yes there is work going on but it didn't spoil our time round the pool, they started about 9am and finished about 4pm, off and on. The music drowned out the little bit of noise and I forgot about it. Best hotel in Benidorm! Well done Calypso!!

Very good accommodation as well as excellent food especially the sweet section which I most probably overindulged on more than one occasion.

My first time staying here, beautiful hotel, staff were excellent. Lovely to see the ballroom dancing as we were waiting to go out for the night. Had a few issues with my room key, but that was sorted at the front desk no problem. Only issue was the fridge in the room. Didn't work, we had a bottle of milk but that went off as the fridge wasn't cold and the bottles of water we had were room temperature when we got them out the fridge. A short work to the Morgan Tavern and the place was buzzing. If I come back, I would stay here again.
