We had a very mixed stay at the hotel overall and although there were some highlights, the downsides outweighed them. Firstly, as many have mentioned, they do try and upgrade you to a higher floor or upgrade room on arrival for 60 to 80 euros. If you don't, you have to wait in reception or by pool for hours. They don't tell you when room is ready, so keep asking. Just what you don't want after travelling. The pool area is well below average. Not enough sunbeds, the ones there are just about serviceable, and the general area is a bit tired. It never felt a nice place to relax and just felt a bit grubby. The rooms are definitely the high part, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. If it wasn't for the rooms the review would be 2 star. The general area is okay, well within reach of local bars and restaurants and a good Mercadona right around the corner. Our stay was marred by being locked out of our room on the last night. The key and lock totally failed and we had to wait in our swimming costumes for 6 hours until it was fixed. Quite a stressful wait as we needed to pack, and eat having been at the beach all day with our food in the room. As seemed normal with this hotel, we had to keep asking to get any updates and eventually persuaded them to give a temporary room so we could shower, with Jet2s help. We finally got in and hastily packed ready for a 7am pick up. Overall, a nice holiday but wouldn't return to this hotel.
