Hotel Bellagio

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay in the Hotel Bellagio. It's not a modern 5 star corporate hotel, but there is nothing we really didn't like about this B&B hotel. So what does the hotel have going for it? - Position, position, position. Close walking to everything in Bellagio and nearby villages. Close to bars, restaurants. - Close to lake ferry terminals. - Extremely helpful and welcoming staff, who go out of their way to provide advice and assistance when sought. - Good B&B (continental style) breakfast in a lovely breakfast room with outdoor terrace area. - Nice bedroom. We had a small balcony with lake "glimpses". Ample room, air-conditioning, tea making facilities included. - Reasonably priced. - Lift (elevator) available in the hotel. And the not so good? Nothing that we found in the hotel itself, but the elephant in the room, is access to the hotel. To get to the Hotel's reception, you have to struggle (especially if you have a lot of luggage) up 37 steps. If you take your time you will get there. If walking up steps is a problem for you, then staying at the Hotel Bellagio might not be the right option. Check with the hotel as they may be able to provide assistance. Keep in mind though, that Bellagio is quite hilly, other that the lakeside waterfront, and you would most likely encounter access difficulties at other hotels as well, so you should check this out before booking.

Bed and pillows superb- instant coffee offered in room, hike up stairs but to be expected, travel light. Umbrellas offered if needed. Breakfast offered many options but no bacon or scrambled eggs, you can boil your own. Cappuccino offered if not, then coffee and steamed milk available- would stay here again. Lots to do but plan on going up and down several stairs

The hotel is a real classic. Located in Bellagio on the lake the suite was beautiful. Very clean and well maintained, presented perfectly and staff are outstanding. Standards are very high and consistently well managed. It is one of my best experiences in the area. I look forward to my return.

Here you are right in the very heart of Bellagio. Easy access to the ferries and the lake. If you like being in the center of the action, you will love this hotel. As with most things in Italy, you must be able to climb some stairs up to the hotel. The beds are comfy and the place is clean. The staff are also very friendly.

Location, staff and breakfast were great. Rooms are spacious and clean with wonderful lake views. Would highly recommend overall. Only complaint was we were told A/C was not operating with the season and open up the windows. We did, but even so, when the drapes are closed, little airflow and room was overly warm which made sleeping for us harder.

A perfect place to stay with an excellent staff and location! Likely one of the best stays that I have experienced. The thoughtfulness and courtesy of everyone we encountered during our stay was exceptional. The room was very nice with fantastic views and a very comfortable bed!

Great view from our 4th floor room looking over the Lake and onto the Mountains, room lacked a fridge which would have been useful - location very central. Good continental breakfast with enough choice. Room very clean. Handy for the ferrys and boats to cross the lake to visit other locations.

Hotel Bellagio, just a stair away from the ferry station, provided an enchanting stay that felt straight out of a fairytale. The room was immaculate, filled with natural light, and offered a stunning view. Bed was comfortable. The friendly and welcoming staff made every moment memorable.
