GreenTree Alliance Hotel (Beijing Daxing District Yizhuang Jiugong Subway Station)

My experience at this hotel was mixed. Starting with communication, I found it somewhat difficult because the hotel is not very “English-friendly”, which made some situations more challenging, even when using a translator. I understand that in China there may not be many foreign tourists, but it would be a great improvement if there were a more accessible way to communicate with guests from other countries. I arrived at the hotel on the evening of July 4th, and the first receptionist who welcomed me was very kind and helpful. She made an effort to answer all my questions and make my arrival more comfortable. However, the same level of friendliness and hospitality was not always present with the other staff members. Regarding the room, considering the price-quality ratio, the value is understandable. I expected a simple room, but the hotel kindly provided me with an upgrade. The upgraded room had more space and included a small area with a table and two chairs. However, there are some aspects that could be improved. In this area, there appeared to be signs of moisture or humidity on the ceiling, as well as a pipe leading into a bucket to collect water, which gives the impression that maintenance is needed. The bathroom also requires some improvements. The shower area could be more practical, as there is no proper place to place or hold the showerhead. There are also some damaged areas on the floor, especially around the drains, and some signs of wear in the room itself. Another negative point was the smell. On the first night, I stayed in a different room and the smell was very strong, both in the room and in the hotel corridors, with a noticeable old, musty, and moldy odor. I was quite disappointed at first because of this. The second room was better, and after buying an air freshener, the atmosphere improved significantly and became much more pleasant. The room also does not have a refrigerator. In addition, I experienced some functional issues: the toilet tank lid was not working properly, and many times I had to open the tank manually to allow it to fill with water before being able to flush. The bathroom lighting was also inconvenient because it works with a motion sensor, but the sensor does not properly detect the shower area. While showering, the lights would often turn off, forcing me to open the bathroom door or move around to activate the sensor again. The “Do Not Disturb” sign also did not seem to work properly. I placed the sign on the door, but as I was not sure whether it would be noticed, I also used the door lock. That morning, I noticed that someone tried to open my room door, but when they realized it was locked, they stopped and did not disturb me further. Another less positive aspect was the noise. I could hear very loud conversations and people shouting from one side of the hotel to the other. I could not fully determine whether they were guests or staff, but because I could hear trolley carts, it seemed possible that they were employees. On my last morning, this noise woke me up. Despite these issues, the location is quite convenient. The hotel is approximately a 10-minute walk from a shopping mall and around 15 minutes from the railway station, which is a great advantage. Overall, considering the price, location, and type of accommodation, it is an affordable option. I believe that with some improvements in maintenance, especially regarding the odors, small renovations, and better communication options for international guests, the hotel has a lot of potential to provide a much better experience.

Hosts were nice, close to subway and good price for Beijing!

房間非常乾淨整潔，前台小姐姐還免費升級了房型，隔音也好，周圍交通環境還挺方便的，下次再來還會選擇

房間乾淨衞生，距離地鐵站近，附近有萬科廣場，吃喝玩樂方便，給免費升級房型，值得推薦一下。

整體還不錯 地理位置很好，離地鐵H安站很近，走路就能過去，樓下有超市 吃的，很方便，停車就在門口，比較推薦

這個價位性價比比較高，位置也還不錯，就是酒店比較老，裝修比較簡單，窗户小一點，服務很不錯，比較推薦入住
