Next to the beach walk and away from the fireworks.
Crowne had all the things needed. But, stock the bar to fit the menu advertised ;-) Make sure to trek to the art gallery and IOMA. Big Whale bar is on the walkway behind the hotel. Snacks and full bar. About 25-30 minutes from Old Street and 15-29 minutes from the Weizhou Ferry Port (has mall). Fireworks beach maybe 10 minutes away with food stalls.

My friends and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for one night while transitioning to Guilin.
The hotel was in a good location next to the beach, and we were happy to have good rooms overlooking the sea view.
For dinner, I went to the Chinese restaurant at the hotel, and they had excellent service and food (the beef fried rice is a must to have).
The breakfast in the morning was great, with a wide range of options available.
It would have been nice for the lounge to extend its opening times as they close quite early, and we could not access it.
Overall, we had a good stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beihai.

Great hotel. Great amenities. Great food. Great location. We're on a time without too much people so we enjoyed the whole inside swimming pool for us, fabulous time there.
You pay more at this hotel but you receive a great experience.

The pools were excellent, the indoor fitness pool was perfect - minimal chlorine but very clean, outdoors more chlorine but also good to swim. rooms and breakfast great, very comfortable, best thing though was the staff who were always kind and helpful. Always someone around who can speak English.

We’ve been spoiled at Crowne plaza..They got a nice pool(huge) and the sea view room is just on point.. One of the receptionist (a legend😁) HARRY ZENG helped us upgrade our room to a sea view suite and granted a late check out too for our late flight.. Can’t complain..Nowhere else we would stay once we are back in Beihai again.. Crowne plaza it is!not to mention their rooftop bar that we’re about to check out in shortly🥰

A shame !! À five star hotel with such dirty water in your bathtub I never saw this
They gave me a second room to wash and same yellow color like the pipes were 50 years old !!
The bar is closed at 22, no more room service after 22…. Like life stops at 22 !!
Will just ask a refund !!
