Hotel Sa Punta - Adults Only

This hotel is beautiful, quiet and the service is excellent. Every member of staff was kind and approachable. We stayed in one of the suites which had a huge terrace with sun beds, a jacuzzi bath and super king bed. To say the hotel is spotless is an understatement, even the pool toilets were sparkling. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced considering other hotels. We paid 16 euros for some pan con tomato and jamon for lunch and the plate of jamon was several packets worth in the UK. The hotel restaurant is excellent and their lobster paella delicious for 26euros each. Breakfast is continental, the spread was the same every day, however it was all fantastic quality and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the fruit and honeycomb. The swimming pool was exceptionally quiet and had plenty of sun loungers. With the pool being my favourite experience, it was just the right temperature, crystal clear and so large you can swim lengths to your hearts content. We hired a car for the drive up from Barcelona which was about 1hr 45 but primarily highway and a very straightforward drive. If you are looking for an all inclusive with entertainment and cooked breakfasts, this isn’t the hotel for you. But if you want a peaceful, tranquil and gentle stay in a very lovely part of Spain then it’s ideal.

We have stayed at Hotel Sa Punta on several occasions and really enjoy the sea views that capture the Ilses Medes. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, although the decor may be regarded as a little old fashioned. Dinner in the restaurant is very good and the continental breakfast is pleasant. The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk away from Platja del Raco and a few local restaurants - although we bring our car so that we also have the option to explore further afield. This year there had been a change of ownership and the establishment was in a state of transition - we still enjoyed our stay and the staff remain friendly and helpful.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. Everything was what we wished fo…except the breakfast. It was very very basic with empty plates, old bread and making a cup of coffee was difficult most of the time. We were welcomed by a friendly staff. The superior room was spacious with a balcony.

We had a Superior room which was spacious and lovely and clean with a balcony. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful with taxi bookings and suggestions. Pool is nice and big so you can have a decent swim with plenty of sun loungers around.

This is a hotel I had to leave. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this had to be said. I arrived, put down a credit card to check-in. I asked the receptionist for recommendations of what to do in the area, and she looked at me blankly. I asked for a map, and she handed me one of Spain, with the area of Pals barely denoted by a dot. I then headed to my room. The room smelled AWFUL. I walked in and was hit with a wave of chemicals. I couldn't breathe, felt my throat constricting, my eyes watering, and had a headache. I went back down to tell them I couldn't stay. I brought the receptionist upstairs with me. Her response, "I don't smell anything." The cleaning carts smelled of the same chemicals. She told me to open the balcony door - the weather was about 100 degrees, and the air conditioning wouldn't turn on with the door open (plus, there was no air movement). I did not touch the room - didn't even wash my hands. I just told them I could not stay. The manager/owner? bragged that the hotel was well reviewed, he would not give me my money back, even though the room could be re-rented, and forced me to find another place that night where I had to pay a premium because it was last minute. After pretending not to understand English (I speak Spanish and English), his exact words in ENGLISH were, "lady, I am 1000% sure I am never going to give you your money back." Though he could rent the room that night for full price. And stated he didn't care if the room was causing my throat to constrict. A completely disgusting experience, awful management, unfriendly staff. This owner bragged that my review would mean nothing, and that he would keep my money. Please don't go. Don't support an establishment that uses chemicals like this to clean (toxic for you, toxic for their staff), and that refuses to return money for an unused room that a guest cannot stay in because they cannot breathe. For the price, you can get much better accommodations anyway (they were the price of 4-star hotels if you made the booking in time).

J’ai eu la chance de séjourner pour un séjour dans un le cadre de mon déplacement professionnel. L’hôtel est magnifiquement rénové avec une jolie décoration et la magnifique vue dans la baie de Begur. La piscine est incroyable, du jamais vu dans un hôtel ! Un magnifique petit déjeuner et le restaurant très sympas ! Une belle adresse !

Hôtel resté dans son jus …tout est vieillot y compris la literie .Ambiance triste,petit déjeuner ordinaire au possible avec une ambiance musicale déprimante. Pas de tapis de douche,on a dû réclamer les serviettes.Première et dernière fois!

Très bien situé à quelques minutes à pieds de la plage de Pals, l'hôtel dispose également d'une grande piscine d'eau de mer. Le jardin verdoyant offre par ailleurs un espace très reposant. La décoration des chambres mérite un petit rafraîchissement mais la literie est de bonne qualité. Le restaurant offre une excellente cuisine. Une belle expérience. J'y retournerai!

Hemos estado un fin de semana en pareja. Todo fantástico, el hotel muy limpio y tranquilo. Un jardín que transmite paz, la piscina grande y tranquila. Se puede ir a la playa andando en 10 minutos. Y el personal genial. Laura de recepción un 10! Repetiremos seguro
