Visionapartments Basel Nauenstrasse - Contactless Check-IN

De appartementen zijn niet zo groot als ze op de foto's lijken. Helaas was onze kamer vies (servies, stof, tapijt en bevlekt gordijn) en de deur naar onze kamer ging met moeite dicht. Nadat ik per e-mail contact had opgenomen met de klantenservice (omdat er niemand was), werd mij gevraagd foto's te sturen van de staat van de kamer. Toen was er geen vervolg. De bar bij het zwembad was tijdens ons verblijf nooit geopend. Pluspunten: Internet werkte goed, bed was comfortabel, mooie badkamer met grote douche en kleine vaatwasser in de kamer.

Inchecken met codes is niet erg handig. Er komen twee aparte, één voor de slaapkamer en één voor de garage, maar ze werken niet als je vóór de geplande tijd arriveert. Ik was op de bovenste verdieping en bracht een slapeloze nacht door omdat het automatische systeem voor het neerlaten van de luiken het niet deed werkt niet (de dag erna gerepareerd). Na het uitchecken maak ik de auto klaar voor vertrek, maar ik kom vast te zitten in de garage met een andere klant. Ze waren snel met de reparatie, maar we moesten toch 20 minuten wachten. Fatale minuten omdat het inmiddels 8 uur gepasseerd was en we dus in de spits kwamen. Bij een dergelijke verwisseling had ik een terugbetaling van de garagekosten verwacht. Ik heb een klachtbrief gestuurd en ze hebben niet eens de moeite genomen om te antwoorden.

We verbleven 2 nachten in dit moderne appartement, alles was kwaliteit en mooi. Maar het bed was te klein voor 2 personen, de badkamer had een glas met uitzicht op de kamer, dus het was niet erg privé en het meest vervelende was het geluid van de luchtafzuiger die de hele dag werkt, waardoor we 's nachts niet konden slapen . Het goede is dat het dicht bij het historische centrum ligt, en bij het treinstation waar je de bus naar de luchthaven kunt nemen.

I stayed at vision apartments Basel with my husband for 3 nights. We were quite impressed with the room (we had a mid range larger apartment) which was nicely decorated and the shower room was very nice and modern and great shower. The location is very good being a short walk from the train station and trams. Also walkable to nearby shopping areas and old town. However, I won't stay here again if I can help it as the customer service is appalling. We found the onsite reception staff to be unnecessarily unhelpful, unreasonable and uncaring. I've never experienced such apathy from customer facing staff. However I add that the housekeeping staff I encountered in the hall were friendly and welcoming to me.

I was supposed to receive an email 24 hrs before checking for the checking instructions, i never received it. When i got the place there was nobody there to help us out. There’s no front desk.We had to call a phone number that is posted on the front door multiple times to get my access code. Several hrs later I received the email and the code wasnt working i had to call back again. When i finally was able to get in the studio the place was not clean, there was dust everywhere the floor was dirty, the curtains, the walls had stains and the comforters was dirty. There was no one in the premises to help us out. Very disappointed, its a shame because is located in a place close to the SBB and to far from the city center.

Recently, we stayed in the Vision Apartments for a week. The building is located just a few minutes walk from the Basel train station which made for easy access to the trains for day trips. This allowed us to pack a lunch for a day of sightseeing and then come back to the room and fix supper. We booked a studio apartment and when we checked in were assigned room 314. The room was located on the south west corner of the building which put us just above the busy street. The room was fairly spacious and included a nice bathroom, sitting area, kitchenette with table and chairs and the bed. There were three windows but only one of them opened about 2 inches so we didn't have any cool air flowing. The room did get stuffy and there didn't seem to be any cool air coming out the vents in the ceiling. Luckily there was a standing floor fan which we kept running continuously while in the room and at night. The kitchen was pretty well equipped with the basics but didn't have a frying pan so we had to use one of the pots that were there. We asked customer service about getting a frying pan but they said we had to use what was there. We also asked them about the lack of air conditioning and they also replied that there was nothing they could do. Not very helpful at all!! The facilities in the building were nice and modern. Laundry machines in the basement were Miele brand so were modern and easy to use. The workout room was stocked with free weights, bench, cardio and a large combination weights pully machine. On the roof is small plunge pool, which is not heated, and a pool bar that must only be open in the summer. Overall, we enjoyed the room and building and would consider staying there again when we return to Basel.

Room was modern with good amenities. Properties was a short walk from the train station. Check-in was a bit concerning (submit passport and other details in advance and receive key code before arrival) as there was no check-in at the property but all worked well. Basel card (transport and discount card) was waiting for us in our room. Would choose to stay here again.

It was an amazing experience. When I booked this hotel I saw really bad comments but on the reallity was an amazing stay. The room was clean and brand new, better than my expectations. You just need to be aware that Is no front desk on the apartament ( but it’s already on the description )

I’ve stayed here twice now, and really cannot complain: at first, I found the website and booking system cumbersome and was uncertain of the pass code entry system… but it’s worked smoothly for me. The location is great - a block or two away from the central station, so handy if you arrive late at night. Also handy for places to get breakfast - I recommend Dean + David or Starbucks. Rooms are clean and functional. Some are starting to show signs of wear and tear, but nothing that makes the stay uncomfortable. I’ve never cooked in my room, but probably wouldn’t - I typically stay on Basel for a couple of days, no more than a week, so just eat out.
