Good value for your money. Kamers zijn schoon en ruim. De staff is behulpzaam en zorgen dat je niets ontbreekt. Eten is lekker. Ze hebben uitgebreid buffet meer veel verschillende gerechten. Het is zeker een aanrader. Met betrekking tot natuur. Helaas door de aardbeving in 2019 in Tanzania zijn de aarde praten aan elkaar geschoven waardoor de lake Naukuru overvol loopt. Daardoor zijn de meeste flamingo's vertrokken. Toch is het moeite waard om naar toe te gaan. Weggaat echter niet dat je duizende flamingo zal zien.

This is the second time we've visited this lodge (first time was 10 years ago) and they still amaze us. If you want to check out a truly spectacular property, then look no further. The open patio bar looks out over the property slope giving you an amazing view, and in the evening they have a bonfire on the patio. The restaurant, food options and quality are first rate with an ambience that doesn't disappoint. If the beauty of the actual property aren't enough, the friendliness and genuine compassion of the staff will blow you away. We were there for a family vacation/safari to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. We were at the bar having a drink talking about her birthday. Purity, one of the staff members, overheard us and came over and gave birthday wishes. An hour later we went for dinner at the restaurant, and just as we were finnishing dinner, many of the staff joined a Congo line singing and dancing their way to our table with a birthday cake. These people aren't just doing a job. They actually care about their guests and treat them like family. And oh yeah, if that's not enough... BEST BEDS EVER!!!

We recently stopped at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for lunch and drinks, and the service we received from Banice was nothing short of exceptional. As someone who values prompt and efficient service, Banice exceeded all my expectations. Her attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and swift service truly made our experience memorable. The lunch was delightful, and the drinks were perfectly timed. The only critique is that the cocktails should be made with fresh juices instead of store-bought ones. Despite this, I highly recommend this place!

An excellent property in all senses - beautiful view, comfortable rooms, pleasant staff and a delicious food menu ! Very well located to access the national park. We had sightings of lions and rhinoceros very closeby. They have dance performances in the eve, and the Indian cuisine is one of the best you can get outside India 👍

We spent 2 nights here and had rooms 23 and 24. We were placed right on the end which meant it was nice and quiet with limited foot traffic past our rooms. We were also close to the nature and could hear the lions calling at night. Room 23 was a double and 24 a twin. Rooms had mosquito nets and screens on windows but not the doors. Solar geisers provided hot water and a generous amount of fresh drinking water was provided. Restaurant provided buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with an extensive selection of options. Their lamb curry and fish were stand outs for me but overall the food was very good. They were also the only hotel on our trip to provide gluten-free cake with our packed lunch which was a nice treat for me. Call outs are the Front Office Managers who was always there to greet us when we arrived back and asked us what we had seen (and who provided the Swahili lesson). The dessert chef who made a special effort to cater for my gluten-free needs - would recommend the crème caramel and my friends would recommend the pear and almond cake (not gluten-free). And last but not least, Edwin who made us laugh every morning, and evening, with his quick wit. Watch out for lions in the tree to your right as you drive in.

This was the first place we stayed on our East Africa safari after leaving Nairobi. It's nestled in amongst trees at Lake Nakuru on a hill with a beautiful view of the surrounding country. It's surrounded by an electric fence (as were most places we stayed) but we saw animals just outside of that. The room was spacious and clean. The food was some of the best we had on our trip and we stayed at multiple lodges. And, like everywhere else, there was way too much of it! :-) And the variety of cuisines (particularly Indian) was impressive. I tried several things I'd never had before and liked most of the items I sampled. Highly recommend Sarova Lion Hill. Obviously good leadership and management at this property.

We stayed in the Ziwa suite.... amazing! This was our favourite lodge of our 8 day safari. The food was superb, great selection, drinks reasonable prices too. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Game drive was excellent saw white rhino, Lions and hyena's giraffe, buffalo and a glimpse of a leopard plus so much more. Would highly recommend a stay here and definitely recommend a visit to this reserve. Stunning! only wish we'd spent more time here.

We spent 2 days at Lion Hill Lodge and it is truly beautiful. The staff are very attentive and more than happy to help. With extra activities to do out of the game drives it was lovely to enjoy the property. Food was fabulous at every meal and a great selection. Loved the tea and coffee at the bar outside of meal times.
