Extremely disappointing experience. Absolutely not recommended. This was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. We booked this hotel around three to four months in advance and specifically requested a quiet room in a quiet corner. However, when we arrived, we were given a room on the first floor, directly next to the restaurant and toilets. It was extremely noisy. We could clearly hear people talking, walking and moving around outside our room, making it very difficult to sleep or rest. It was obvious that our request had not been taken seriously at all. We stayed for three nights. On the first and second mornings, we spoke to a male staff member wearing an earring and explained that we could not sleep because of the noise. We asked to change rooms. At first, he simply told us that there were no rooms available. However, after we said we would leave a negative review, he suddenly said that he could move us. The replacement room was on the fourth floor, directly opposite the elevator, and was also extremely noisy. The attitude of this male staff member was particularly disappointing. He was rude, showed very little concern, and did not offer even a basic apology. Even after seeing the note on our reservation stating that we had specifically requested a quiet room, he did not acknowledge the hotel’s mistake or apologise. There were also basic problems with the second room. The first room had a proper duvet, but the second room had no duvet at all, only a very thin bedsheet. We returned to the hotel at around 9 p.m. that evening and needed help putting the duvet into the duvet cover. We could not find any staff available except a female receptionist. She genuinely tried to help, but she did not know how to put it together either. In the end, she simply found the duvet and cover for us, and we had to do it ourselves. This should never have been necessary in a hotel. The noise problems continued on the fourth floor. At around 9 a.m., housekeeping knocked on our door and even opened the door to enter and clean. We told them we wanted to leave later, but they continued to rush us. Then, around 10–11 a.m., we could hear very loud construction or renovation noise from somewhere nearby, making it impossible to properly rest again. Overall, this was a very poor experience. We booked months in advance and clearly communicated our request, yet the hotel ignored it. The first room was extremely noisy, the replacement room was also noisy, the staff response was poor, basic room amenities were missing, and we experienced repeated disturbances from housekeeping and construction noise. The attitude of the male staff member wearing an earring was especially disappointing. There was no apology and very little basic customer service. We genuinely do not understand how this hotel meets even a three-star standard. Absolutely not recommended. If you want a quiet and comfortable stay with basic professional service, I strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

The location is excellent—very convenient and in a safe area. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, all within easy walking distance. The only downside is that the hotel is very close to the metro, so it can be quite noisy, especially during the day and at night.

Lovely hotel right across the Casa Batllo. Friendly staff. Working A.C. and elevators, though WiFi is a bit weak at times. We stayed on the 2F and could hear the sounds of passing train/subways at night but it wasn’t disturbing or too noisy for us. We slept well. No breakfast, but there’s a nice lounge area with complementary water and coffee. Many nice cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Highly recommended.

The location is nice, you can access to different attractions by walk. However, the room was smaller than expected and there is not much space for storage.

We were located on the 1/F, saw a few reviews regarding the train underneath but it is more of a soft rumble and not noticeable at all. The aircon is functioning well and is adjustable according to our needs, no complaints!

I arrived in Barcelona a day earlier than my booking, and the hotel responded to my email incredibly quickly. They managed to accommodate all my requests so smoothly, which I truly appreciated. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my stay in Barcelona feel warm and genuinely welcoming from the very beginning. The location of the hotel is fantastic — everything is within walking distance, which made exploring the city so convenient. The room itself felt very secure and comforting, with a modern design. It was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. I had a wonderful and restful stay for four nights. Another big plus was the complimentary 24-hour coffee and drinking water, which made the stay even more convenient and thoughtful. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona!

The hotel is located at the perfect spot, just right next to the Casa Batillo and the main street and very convenient to go everywhere!
