Youth Hostel - Central and Basic Drassanes

À FUIR ABSOLUMENT ! Si vous avez envie de payer 150 € la nuit pour un dortoir déguisé en hôtel, alors foncez. Sinon, passez votre chemin. À ce prix-là, c'est tout simplement scandaleux : douches communes, WC communs, une seule prise électrique dans la chambre, des portes tellement mal insonorisées qu'on entend absolument tout, et des escaliers étroits sans ascenseur. Le lit est d'un inconfort incroyable, impossible de passer une bonne nuit. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur la ville. Résultat ? Une magnifique vue... sur les voisins. Une véritable publicité mensongère. J'apprécie les auberges de jeunesse lorsqu'elles offrent un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais à 150 € la nuit, on est en droit d'attendre au minimum la climatisation, une propreté irréprochable et un minimum de confort. Rien de tout cela n'était au rendez-vous. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet établissement. C'est l'un des pires rapports qualité-prix que j'aie connus. Si je pouvais mettre zéro étoile, je le ferais sans hésiter.

It was a clean room and the staff when I called was helpful and it was at a good location close to the Gothic area. The booking however did not mention that there was no bathroom in the room and the reservation number that the hotel provides on ******* is not the same as the reservation number that you must use to self-check in which they send within their instructions but when you do not have service and cannot see the pdf it is impossible to find. Additionally the shower handle (at least on the fourth floor) must be pressed continuously in order for water to come out and if you let go to wash yourself the water shuts off. That was very inconvenient. There is also a lot of noise from the street and a window to the hallway that lets in light throughout the night

The only thing outstanding about this hostel was the location. Everything else was a disaster - from the service and cleanliness to the facilities. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

"F***king Foreigners should go home" is what the staff say. They are extremely uncompassionate and uncaring . They call police on you if you do not listen. These are definitely not people I do not want to give my money to.
