La Ciudadela

This hotel is a short walk from the Arc de Triomf and it is across the road from Parc de la Ciutadella. We found the location of this hotel v good for exploring the city. The room was small but spotless, the bed and the pillows were comfy and the shower was really powerful which is always a bonus. Hairdryer provided. Considering the location of this hotel we found the room to be super quiet with black out shutters making for an amazing sleep. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

I might not have minded the wet towels when we arrived, or the broken toilet, or when the pipes had to be repaired, and we had no water, but every time we needed something, even as simple as ice for our drinks, we had to interrupt the extremely busy restaurant staff to ask for hotel service. That, and the bars and padlock over the exit out the sliding glass doors - FIRE HAZZARD??? Until management prioritizes the hotel over their successful restaurant; there are much nicer places to stay in Barcelona

Excellent lical restaurant. Magnificent food, staff, care assistance. Would recommend to all. Large portions, excellently done, wonderfully presentation, great prices. Cannot ask for more. Harley's was an excellent waiter. His sister is the chef, magnificent.

I always stay at La Ciudadela Hotel whenever I visit Barcelona. The last time I stayed here was mid September this year. I really love the hotel and restaurant. Every one of the staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming, so I think of it as my home in Barcelona. The rooms are spotlessly clean and it’s lovely looking out onto Parc from the front rooms. The reception staff went ‘the extra mile’ and were exceptionally helpful finding a clinic for me to get a ‘fit to fly’ test to return to the UK, helping upload all my test results etc.. onto the airline website and printing off paper copies of all the paperwork and boarding passes. I cannot thank them enough. The waiters are so friendly and welcomed me back to the hotel/restaurant after two and a half years. The food in the restaurant delicious, I especially recommend all the seafood dishes, desserts and breakfasts. I was so lucky to have found this hotel a few years ago and I hope to return soon. I highly recommend it for a great stay in Barcelona.

Ottima accoglienza. Personale gentile e disponibile. Camera pulitissima. Ottima posizione per girare Barcellona in pochi giorni. Zona tranquilla a tutte le ore. Non potevano chiedere di meglio. Se dovete stare a Barcellona per pochi giorni questo è il posto che fa al caso vostro.

Una meravigliosa scoperta grazie ad un signore del posto . Bellissimo locale servizio eccellente e pesce fresco e buono . Lo consiglio a tutti . Posizione vicino all’ arco di trionfo . Atmosfera rilassante con possibilità di mangiare anche all’ esterno

Soggiornato 2 notti. La camera è bella e pulitissima. In stanza abbiamo trovato 2 bottigliette di acqua e il giorno successo le hanno rimpiazzate e ci hanno rifatto la stanza. Il bagno è spazioso e moderno. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ottima posizione per visitare la città sia a piedi che con i mezzi. Merita più stelle!

Tutto! È stato un soggiorno memorabile. Letto comodissimo, pulizia delle camere impeccabile, posizione ottima (a due passi dalla fermata dei bus per raggiungere tutti i luoghi di maggior interesse). Ciò che più ci ha colpite è stata la disponibilità e la cordialità del personale, oltre alla loro bellezza 😂. Sois guapos, chicos! Gracias Barça 🇪🇦🇮🇹
