We stayed 5 nights with Ainhoa and Bruno at Izaila Plaza in late September. We cannot speak highly enough of the kindliness, friendliness and assistance they showed towards us. From making tourist recommendations, advising us how to best get around the city and their general positive attitude, we could not have asked for more. They are the most wonderful people and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them and Izaila Plaza. Please, please, if you ever do come out to Australia again we would love to welcome you to our city. We will also hopefully be back in Barcelona one day to renew acquaintances. Great location, right in centre of Barcelona, the staff were amazing as they gave us great recommendations and were very organised and friendly. It was also extremely clean and secure. Would highly recommend for anyone going to Barcelona’

Located on second floor of an old building in Placa Catalunya. Antique but functional elevator. Rooms are clean and spacious, if simply decorated. Owner is very pleasant and helped us with our travel planning. She also provided good restaurant recommendations.

The place is amazing! Don't let the old building full you. Once you go inside the place is great and the staff is so friendly and nice. and the location is perfect

This is a wonderful small (8 room) hotel just off Placa Catalonya in the centro of Barcelona. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place. Comfy beds, big rooms, nice bathroom, a great common room and very helpful staff. It is also right off the 'Aerobus' line from the airport so there's no need to take pricey taxis to get there and the buses are quicker! As a matter of fact we never took a taxi the whole time we were in Barcelona, this hotel us so well situated. We'll return for sure!

The staff is wonderful and welcoming. Ainhoa made us feel right at home and gave us all the advice we needed to get our trip started off on the right foot. The room was very clean and spacious. Appreciated having an in-room safe and bathroom amenities. We had a room overlooking the street but did not find it very noisy. The location is unbeatable. Within a minute of Plaça de Catalunya and walking distance of several other attractions including La Sagrada Familia. Would love to stay here again if we return to Barcelona.

Ideally situated just off the Placa Catalunya that makes reaching La Ramblas, Passeig de Gracia, Cortes Ingles, and the main Tourist Information Office by foot all within 5 minutes. The rooms are spacious by European standards and are very clean and modern. The couple that runs this small hotel are so friendly, very helpful, and delightfully enthusiastic about sharing their city and their favorites. There's a small old timey-style elevator you can use, but we mostly used the stairs. Includes fast wifi (fast enough to stream videos) and air conditioning. As a smaller place, if you come in at night after hours, you have to punch in a code to enter the building and then the hotel. Highly recommend and would come back next time I'm in Barcelona.
