Mesón Castilla Atiram Hotel

Hotel is located in the city centre, close to La Rambla, shops, restaurants, variety of public transport. We particularly enjoyed breakfast in the hotel. Thank you everyone for your help and great service.

部屋タイプによって結構違いがありそうです。私はある程度費用を抑えたかったので、宿泊したのは1階と2階の間の位置にあるお部屋。決して広くはないけど清潔感はありました。窓は床に接着した場所にあり、開けると通りを行きかう人との距離が近かったです。すぐ近くに大学があるからか大きな通りではないけど日中は行きかう人は常にいて、話し声も聞こえるため窓は常時閉めてました。浴室にも同じ位置に小さな窓がありますが、シャワーを使うとどうしてもこもるのでここだけはときどき開けてました（トレイをするときは閉めないと見えちゃうかも）。ホテルの目の前にごみ回収場所があり、瓶を回収してるのかガラスが砕けるものすごい音が一日に何度かします。ホテルの壁がとても薄いので隣の人の会話は聞こえてきます。 場所は良いです！Universidad駅から徒歩5分くらい？空港バスが停まるPlaça de Catalunyaからも徒歩10分するかしないかくらいで、石畳にちょっとだけ持ってかれたりしますがスーツケースと一緒の小柄女性でも歩ける距離です。 周辺の治安も問題なさそう。滞在中3名くらいのフロントの方と接触しましたが、みなさん感じがよく優しかったです。建物の2階か3階に無料のウォーターサーバーがあり、常温の水、冷たい水、ガス入りの水と多分氷？が選べました。お水はたくさん飲むので、これは意外とうれしいし助かるポイントでした。そして日本人が特に気になりそうなシャワーは、温度も圧も最高です！温度はむしろ熱々までいけそうなので、適温のところを見つけてやけどしないようにご注意を。 バルセロナの他のホテルを知らないので何ともですが、総称するとお値段相応という印象。お部屋は正直イマイチでしたがもともと期待値も高かったわけでもなく、観光で何日か寝るための場所と考えると十分かなと。

Manager very unprofessional and rude … no customer service at all… should not be working at her position… completely disrespect to customers and visitors…

We were very disappointed in this room and with the breakfasts. There weren’t any amenities at this hotel such as a place to get a beverage. I was very surprised at how small the room was, and that there were no windows whatsoever! This is not what I expected when I booked the room. If you are claustrophobic, be careful when booking your room. The staff was friendly enough but didn’t go out of their way to see if you needed anything. Best thing I can say is that the location is great and only about a 3 block walk to Las Ramblas.

Have stayed before and this stay was as expected. Excellent. Good location just off the main action. Local food really close. Staff very helpful every day.

This property was a shocking departure from the images posted on their ******* profile. The hotel is dingy and the area it resides in is both dirty and did not feel safe. In fact the hotel had to buzz the doors open to let us in when we arrived. The interior is dimly lit and run down. The room we booked for over $500 was hardly bigger than a closet and did not resemble the images online. The hotel and room were completely unacceptable, so much so that my wife and I couldn't even tolerate staying one night. Because we booked through ******* we were not able to get a refund of any sort. ******* has no recourse and no way to talk to a real person about our terrible experience. I am very frustrated and also out $500. I will avidly avoid using ******* in the future and this hotel in particular should be avoided like the plague. The ONLY redeeming aspect of this hotel was the patient front desk staff who was able to call a sister hotel and find us a room there for another $500.

We were at the property 5 nights. We had to change rooms as the first night's room was really small. Paid a bit more on site and got a really nice room. But on check in our room was not ready and we could not settle in until about 4:00 P.M. and they were slow to make up rooms on the subsequent days. We simply had to remind the front desk to look after our room and they were very accommodating. Breakfast was top notch. We recommend paying the extra amount (euros 12) for that. The hotel is in a most interesting part of the city. We would stay there again.

Wonderful nice, clean, spacious place. Super friendly staff who are fluent in several languages including English! Highly recommend!

It was nice enough. I didn't realize when I put in what days I want on ********** that it included 2 nights that were over $400. I would have changed hotels had I known. Breakfast is good and the attendants are very helpful.
