Voor de duidelijkheid er is een mainwing en een cornerwing. De mainwing is het hoofdgebouw en die is prima. De cornerwing is een zijgebouw van het hotel. Het gebouw staat los van het hoofdgebouw, dwz als je wilt zwemmen of trainen dan zal je naar het andere gebouw moeten lopen. Daarnaast is de corner wing een veroudert gebouw wat niet fris ruikt. Ik heb het niet alleen over de kamers maat over het hotel ik het algemeen. Mijn advies is als je The Davis hotel boekt let dan goed op dat je boekt in het hoofdgebouw en niet in het zijgebouw. Op de website krijg je altijd het hoofdgebouw te zien dus je moet goed lezen waar je kamer zich bevindt.
Als je denkt van kamer te veranderen dan kom je van een koude kermis thuis, je krijg namelijk geen andere kamer in het hoofdgebouw. (Tenzij je bijbetaald)
Ook via Trip is het me niet gelukt om van kamer te veranderen. Ze hebben geprobeerd om een oplossing voor mij te vinden en dat is helaas niet helemaal gelukt.
Er hangen ook geen gordijnen in de kamer, dus het licht zal vroeg schijnen in je kamer.

I stayed here one night only. So far the room is clean and spacious tho the furnitures are kinda outdated and the price? It’s kinda expensive for the quality of the room. But so far so good I enjoyed my stay here. They also have a nice pool on the rooftop.

There are 2 buildings (main and corner). Go for the main wing. Will definitely be back!

It seems to be a spot for touristy photographers and at nights it has a great bar with good looking people and expensive drinks.
The hotel itself is not the freshest, but it has a good standard of cleanliness.
Price value is good, especially when you book in advance. For some additional Baht there is even upgrade options to the suite, which has a jacuzzi in the middle of the room.
The windows are thin, but clean, AC is working fine and the safe is working. Fridge contains free refill beverages every day.
The pool could have a better view and maintenance, but a cold beer in the water compensates for everything.

If you prioritize spacious rooms, convenient access to Bangkok's culinary scene and shopping, and the luxury of two pools, The Davis Bangkok sounds like a great fit. Be mindful of potential updates needed and the distance to the Skytrain if these are important factors for you.
Keyword: cheap but not shabby.

the service was terrible, I face a problen then i ask the reception to help me.
Instead to help me they lied to me.
The picures they put in Ctrip r another lie. they putt the new bulding pictures but I got a room in the old building.
