This resort has changed my stereotypical perception of the Best Western brand, which is normally associated with motels or budget hotels. Although it is not right in the centre of Ubud (which may not be a good location to stay, given the constant hustle and bustle) and walking to the main road takes about 10 minutes (though ordering a Gojek motorbike or car would take the need to commute on foot out of the equation), I could not be happier with my choice of accommodation. I looked forward to returning to the resort after my morning tours, even if it’s just lazing by the gorgeous two-tier infinity pool flanked by coconut trees or getting a relaxing message at the pretty good in-house spa. Though the breakfast buffet is forgettable, to say the least, the meals they serve at the all-day restaurant are surprisingly pretty good, particularly the succulent Bebek Goreng (fried duck), which can rival those served at the more established restaurants in Ubud. It opens til 11 pm (last order half an hour before closing), so you can still be well fed even if you arrive late in evening as I did. And the service provided by every member of the staff is impeccable. This resort will be my first choice of accommodation if or when I return to Ubud.

They provide free shuttle service to Ubud center, which was a pleasant surprise. It’s a bit old but good enough for a short stay. Nice view from balcony.

Wonderful stay at Ubud’s BW. This was one of the most beautiful best western hotels I’ve stayed at to date. The location is fabulous, close to town but also right on the rice fields. The pool is 10/10 fabulous. Rooms are modern, clean, large. The balcony is also an added touch. The food is amazing at this resort and they will serve you poolside.
Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say about this hotel. I would argue this is one of the nicest and best priced resorts in the Ubud area. You will not regret booking here! An important side note is that the room doors are 100% sealed meaning no critters can get Into your room which is a big problem in Ubud hotels!!

It is only 15 min walk to the center of Ubud, the Palace, and it is located on a quiet road, but it is still a major road car can travel on. Beware that some hotel/villas in Ubud are located really in countryside which car would not able to reach. The environment of the hotel is beautiful, very untypical of a Best Western. And the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Had a very comfortable stay! Very clean room and toilet. Love that the room doesn't look old, design is pretty modern. Breakfast spread for buffet is decent. Quite abit of walk (around 20+ mins) to the central of Ubud but for this price, I would definitely stay again. Good service of staffs. Recommended. Thank you for the free upgrade!
