I arrived at Melati on July 27, just a week or so after it reopened after Covid. Only one building was ready, but our room is spacious, had a great view, nice beds and a balcony. I am not going to deny that the hotel will need some more work after closing for two years after Covid, but the folks running the place were attentive, conscientious and kind. We had some great conversation and got to know the history of the hotel and the family that runs it. The swimming pool continues to be a delight after a hot day. The grounds of the hotel is gorgeous, with vibrant plants in the right places, and good lighting in the dark. It is also extremely reasonable in price. I will return.
