An amazing, beautiful hotel, loved my stay. Room is basic but big, with a nice terrace. Breakfast is amazing with huge portions; I still dream about their Mie Goreng and smoothie bowl. This place has 3 pools, 2 of them infinity pools, and I had a whole pool to myself 2 days as there weren’t many guests (now is off season). Service was the best I’ve had in Bali- staff all remembered my name, nothing was too much for them to do. I had wanted to visit the spa at 7pm on my last night but it closed at 7, then reception called and said they would keep the spa open for me! Very much appreciated. I also spoke to the manager when I was checking out and he knew what my forward plans were and seemed genuinely interested in having a chat. Reception guy was from Penida so was able to help me get the boat transfer no problem. I will say if you want a room with a bathtub to double-check with the hotel when you book, as all the pictures showed bathtubs but turns out top floor rooms don’t have them. Every evening they give a turndown service and give you free cake; the only thing I would suggest is that they knock first, as each time they just walked into my room 😂 Thankfully I was clothed…Overall an amazing stay, would definitely recommend.

The staff was AMAZING from start to finish.
The breakfast that was included in our stay was the best we had in Bali! Seriously! A la cart, Order as much as you wanted! Everything was so fresh.

Ontzettend genoten gisteren van een heerlijk diner. Top bediening en aan persoonlijke aandacht geen gebrek. Het zit op een erg mooie locatie met een mooie view over het eiland. Tevens is het er schoon en erg netjes.

Kamer prima, wel lastig voor mensen wat slechter ter been, douchen in bad met hoge in/uit stap. Veel trappen lopen. Ik was helaas ziek geworden en kon hierdoor niks meer, Harry heeft mij erg goed geholpen door sportdrankjes te brengen, bellen naar de kamer of ik nog iets nodig had. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze kamer zat boven het zwembad bij het restaurant waardoor we wel de hele dag de muziek hoorden, dat was iets minder. Verder super mooi uitzicht bij zwembad boven.

This is a beautiful resort where you instantly feel relaxed. The staff are all excellent from Putu, Dewi and their young colleagues to the reception team, nothing is too much trouble and they have a genuine interest in you as a person. Breakfast is excellent, the best we have had in both Bali and Singapore. Chicken curry was also very good. The pools have an amazing view and the Maguerita cocktails were excellent! Location is an easy stroll to the beach and the good restaurants. Rooms are very clean, great beds.

This is a smart boutique hotel which is very friendly and personable. The staff are lovely, helpful and attentive. The food was also particularly good. I loved the pool by the restaurant but beware it made all my silver bangles tarnish hopefully they can be polished once I am home. I wanted to point this out if you have any jewellery you wouldn’t want to damage. We booked a buggy for the day to explore the island and this was a highlight. You are also very conveniently located for the boat transfer to and from mainland Bali. Large rooms nice balcony and bathrooms. Robes and slippers provided. Any problems are promptly sorted. Must also point out there are lots of stairs and I am just in the age bracket where this detail is good to know beforehand. Loved our stay here.

Had the pleasure of staying at this amazing resort, from the moment we arrived till the moment we left we had nothing but first class service. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, we stayed in one of the villas. The food was delicious, we had both breakfast and dinner as well as room and restaurant service. The location is convenient to tour the Island and its an easy walk to Lembongan Beach and it’s many restaurants and bars. The staff are so good, they are friendly, capable and make sure that you are treated like you matter. I cannot recommend The Tamarind highly enough, we intend on making it our go to place in Bali. Not to mention the stunning elevated views across the island from our room, the two wet edge pools and the restaurant and bar. So good!!

We have just arrived a couple of hours ago. What a warm welcome we had from Anton. This place is like heaven on the island. Small, cosy and just beautiful. Fantastic rooms with all the amenities you may need. Very professional staff that can not be more friendly. We as a family of four are looking forward to our stay.
