Villa Seminyak Estate & Spa - by Astadala

Het voelt alsof ik een particulier pensioen kwam bezoeken Een plek waar u het plezier van een villa met zwembad voelde Er is ook airconditioning in de badkamer, dus het is echt gaaf. Er is een koelkast van 300 liter in plaats van de kleine die je normaal gesproken in hotels aantreft, en er is ook een gasfornuis en eenvoudig serviesgoed, zodat je eenvoudig eten kunt bereiden als je eenvoudige boodschappen bij Bintang Market koopt. Het ontbijt was echter vettig en een beetje zout. . .

Villa is not very pretty, pool is ok

缺點：游泳池小且非常臟，全是雜物，甚至還有動物糞便類似的。整體高級農家院的感覺，由於洗手間露天，蚊子超級多，被咬的渾身包。前台態度惡劣，歧視中國人感覺，對老外就笑臉相迎。這是我遇到的第一家不提供下午茶的峇里島別墅，也是第一家拒絕二點退房的。圖片中的小池子也是涼水，不是温泉。二樓就是個佛堂，連坐的地方都沒有，就是擺設。客廳沒有空調，根本沒法呆。而且給了兩把塑料牌的鑰匙，警告了半天説丟了一把人民幣500，真想問你是金鑰匙？還有水池下水非常困難，洗衣服都費勁。頭一次寫點評有點罄竹難書的感覺……住了三天換了一家貴三分之一的酒店，家人都説太值了，讓我別再住那家，總之不會再來！ 優點：早餐是自助的，雖然非常簡單。spa態度不錯，價格也算合理，90分鐘精油接近300塊錢。

Далеко от всего, до пляжа идти больше 20 минут, грязное постельное белье,все в пятнах. Завернули одеяло в две простынки,и так сильно,что когда пытаешь его достать,все постельное расправляется и надо самому заново все заправлять. Вода в бассейне была грязной, раковина была забита сразу,туалет не смывал,а просто крутил воду по кругу. С крыши сыпалась солома,все вещи что лежали на столе у телевизора были грязные и стол тоже. Завтрак был вкусный и сытный. Несколько раз предупредили что за потерю ключа,штраф в миллион рупий,что дикий бред. Вай фай слабый,фильм не загрузился.

So with a friend in tow, we went to the Seminyak Villa Estate and Spa to undertake a Cooking Class. On arrival we were given a refreshing juice and then led to the area where our cooking class would be. We were met by the Chef and her staff and a table laden with exotic ingredients. We were both given a lovely apron and a hat, which made us feel like we were ready to undertake the meals we were going to make. Firstly the Chef, detailed all the exotic ingredient, offering smells and tastes. Then detailed the other ingredients (chicken etc) that would be added to the exotic spices we had just reviewed. On the table was 'Bumbu Merah' which is a base the balinese use for seafood along with 'Bumbu Genap' which is again a base of balinese spices generally used in all balinese food. To start, we undertook the making of 'Lawar Gedang Muda' which is balinese young papaya salad with minced chicken. My friend started the frying of the chicken, while I took to madly grating the papaya. The finished salad was amazing, we each had a taste and my friend, being the wonderful cook she is, said lets add so more lime, of which the chef agreed. Then it was on to making "Calan Be Siap" which is a balinese chicken ball soup. We both had fun making the chicken balls into the right size and there was much laughter amongst us as we both tried to outdo each other in getting the size right. Again, a taste was offered and both of us agreed we had done a great job. We then went on to make two more traditional balinese dishes, one with chicken and one with prawn and of course the wonderful chicken satay. We tasted each dish on completion and then sat down to eat our three course meal. It was a lot and I felt confident that I would be able to repeat these dishes at home. After only being able to eat a little of the enormous lunch, we went on to make banana fritters with vanilla and palm sugar sauce. I plated the dish and of course we munched it down, even though we were really full. The staff were kind enough to suggest to us to take the left overs home, of which I was very keen. Our wonderful cooking class ended with a certificate that we could take home along with the apron. I thought it would be a great idea to finish the meal with a shot of arak, of which I happily necked. I won't lie I did have another two shots and was given a taste of some arak that had been mixed with berries. Our hotel was some 10 minutes away and we said that we would ring our driver to take us home, but no, they insisted on taking us home in their hotel buggy. This is an experience that I think anyone would enjoy. Cooking with a chef and being guided to make what we would normally buy in Bali, really was a treat. We were even given a Cookbook with the recipes to take home. This is a 10 out of 10 experience, pricing is really good and the whole class was conducted in a totally professional manner, but it also included so many laughs. Amazing villa with our family for the first part of our Bali trip. Staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. Great buffet breakfast, something for everyone. Super handy to the main street in Seminyak. So many options for food and shopping within walking distance. Wish we could stay longer!

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Friday night buffet and cultural show at the Villa is a must. Central to most attractions. Lagoon pool refreshing after a long day exploring Seminyak and the beautiful Bali. Will be back again next year.

Staff was very friendly and bent over backwards to ensure that we were comfortable and happy to take us by buggy to the main street We will back next year 10/10 Great buffet breakfast especially the banana pancakes lots to choose from something different everyday Local drivers are very good as well Love how u can just open a door in ya villa and hop straight in the lagoon pool beautiful

We stayed in a Grand Deluxe 1 bedroom Villa with private pool. The villa could do with a little TLC but was clean and attended to on a daily basis. Unfortunately there was an overwhelming odour of mould / mildew coming from the air conditioning vents adjacent to the toilet that made us both quite ill with chest infections. The pool area was lovely and well maintained but could do with some shade to block out the intense heat in the middle of the day. Mariani, Dodi, Dede, Tready, and Ardana all made us feel special and we thank them all for there attention and outstanding service.
