Couldn't be happier with my stay at Jinetes de Osa. This is my second time and will be my choice every time I come back. Wonderful location, great staff and Claudio's restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The manager Carlos and tour manager Rolando are are excellent at what they do and are great guys.

This is a nice little hotel. In is a short walk on the southern edge of Drake Bay. Some rooms are along the hiking path that goes from Drake bay to San Jocesito Beach. There are other small beaches along the way. The nicest rooms are up the hill. This means going up the equivalent of several flights of cement stairs outside. Don’t worry, they will deliver your luggage, but you do need to be capable of the climb. They took very good care of us.

We had a a room with the most amazing view overlooking Drake Bay! Te restaurant is close to the beach that you can hear the sound of waves

Top spot in Drake Bay! Very comfortable rooms, great views. Best pinto gallo in all of Costa Rica. The super staff super is helpful in arranging tours. Location is perfect. Rolando an excellent guide (whether at Corcovado or Drake Bay.

Started with a couple of beers after Drake's Trail, had a couple of cocktails and ended up having a meal and a bottle of wine - mahi-mahi, octopus, coconut shrimp and a veggie curry. All very good. The young barman and the owner were very accommodating and friendly.

After an awful Airbnb experience (you get what you pay for), we luckily found a peaceful sanctuary at Hotel Jinetes. The staff was present, professional, well-tuned to scheduling, and as attentive as necessary. The room was wonderful with a great view of the bay, air conditioning, and comfort. This is not luxury, but it certainly is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant had undoubtedly the BEST meals in the area and a nearby luxury lodge could not come close to quality of the food here at Jinetes. We do plan on visiting this location again.

Unbelievable experience. Its a great little adventure getting there. Then you have great staff waiting for you Clean rooms with unbelievable views. Wildlife everywhere Fantastic cozy open air restaurant on premises. The staff will help you with any activities you want. Fishing snorkeling diving tours of the national park or a beautiful island. The staff are all awesome. I now go 2 times a yr for 4 yrs. Always a great experience

We came here as part of our honeymoon and the hotel was brilliant! Great communication, stunning location, and we got upgraded to one of the suites overlooking the bay. The staff were really helpful and friendly and aided us in booking some tours in the area. Magical place with many happy memories!

We were looking for a vacation away from the crowds in Costa Rica and we couldn't be happier with Jinetes. Our room was clean and spacious. If you're in one of the rooms at the top of the hill the views are great (just be ready to tackle the stairs!). Lots of wildlife around. The hotel provides a water cooler outside so you won't need to bring your own filter. Thank God for the A/C and refrigerator! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We scheduled most of our tours with the hotel and they were all amazing (Rolando is the man!). The location is a 10-15 walk from town along a dirt road. We thought the price was very fair. The attached restaurant (Claudio's) is also amazing. We highly recommend Jinetes!
