We had 5 nights at Marival and it turned out to be a very disappointing stay. Checked in around 5pm, staff confirmed we have a King Bed/ Garden view. Then handed over to the 'time share rep' who drew all over the map and did their best to sell... something.
We then discovered we had 2 double beds, called reception and were told - tough, we have nothing else call tomorrow at 5pm.' The room (3413) was in a bad state drainage in the shower not working, bathroom scratched up and towel rack coming off the wall. That night... We slept in separate beds and had neighbours who'd obviously taken advantage of unlimited drinks and howled until 2am.
The next day reception told us they would call the room at 5 to tell us what new room we'd be allocated. Breakfast was good, the only day fresh Chilaquiles were available. 5pm came and went, called reception and they had no record of our issue. A king bed was found with connecting doors in the same building. We were un able to sleep until 1am for the rest of the trip on account of laughing and shouting next door.
Not all bad as pools are nice, all infinity pool loungers reserved by 7am so be quick. Divium and Essence were ok but food extremely limited for vegetarians. Even chases and meets are mixed for dinner service. All in all disappointed but was relaxing to do nothing by the pool - sure you could have the same experiences for a significantly lower price.
