Fantastische widlife ervaring, midden in het nationaal park. De olifanten liepen om onze tent heen. Zeer vriendelijke medewerkers, wel veel tseetsee vliegen. In de tent waar het eten werd geserveerd had je er minder last van. De tent waar we in sliepen was erg comfortabel.

Zoek je naar een geweldige ervaring, midden in het national park Tarangire? Dan moet je hier zijn. Bij Baobab Tented Camp. De crew is werkelijk fantastisch en doen er alles aan jouw verblijf super te maken. Het zijn stuk voor stuk geweldige rangers De tenten zijn knus en voorzien van alles. Je slaapt tussen de wilde dieren, een unieke ervaring. Zo zagen wij 's nachts vanuit onze tent een olifant, zebra, giraf en we hoorden leeuwen en hyena's. De rangers zorgen ervoor dat je te allen tijde veilig bent en voelt. Het eten is local en echt waanzinnig goed. De koks maken ook heerlijke lunchpakketten voor als je wil lunchen in het park. Het enige wat lastig is: het kamp vinden. Als je vanaf de Main Gate rijdt, neem bij de kruising de weg links. Rij rechtdoor totdat je bij een brug uitkomt. Vervolgens rij je over de brug en neem je de afslag rechts. Vanaf daar zie je bordjes richting Baobab Tented Camp. Als je het echt niet kunt vinden kun je ze altijd bellen om te navigeren en als je een simkaart met internet hebt sturen ze een live locatie. Ze zijn heel behulpzaam. Wij zijn zelfs opgehaald. Maar het hoort allemaal bij de ervaring: té gaaf!

Fantastic stay. Family luxury tents in the middle of the park with all amenities needed: two bathrooms, two bedrooms, entrance area. You feel more in a hotel room, but you have all the advantages of the location, the green view and the sounds at night. Good location inside Tarangire, but beware of tse tse flies in this park area, best to bring repellent and wear long sleeves and pants. The camp has a nice central area with food and drink services, incl. WiFi. Overall highly recommended.

The camp was exactly what we wanted. Small and charming, secluded and surrounded by gigantic baobabs, very comfortable tents and bedding, excellent food, professional and friendly staff. If you want to experience the authentic safari experience this is the camp to stay. The Tarangire National Park is also truly worth a visit and highly underrated in comparison with the Serengeti, as it is not so vast and the animals are easier to spot.

Beautiful stay at this great lodge ! The staff is incredible and very professional. The place is just amazing ! In the middle of nature and tented lodges with all confort. The food was great and tasty, as well as the picnic boxes ! We loved the place and recommended it 100% ! Alyssa and Xavier

Really nice place to stay in Tarangire NP ! Staff were very friendly and attending any request, tents are very nice with wooden floor and large bathroom. Sunset light with the vegetation is great ! Nuce value for money in Tarangire. Staying 2 nights allow to discover the more southern area of the park

I was afraid this place would feel tacky, but it didn’t at all. It was a cozy feeling, with very nice tents. But the best of all was the awesome staff. Since it was in the locates in the park there were animals around. Therefore we were not allowed to leave the tents alone when dark. You had to call the staff via a radio in your tent to have them come and accompany you. The food was awesome. Lying in bed, hearing sounds from the outdoors and the African animals was a new experience. I would really recommend booking this.

Wonderfull place, very kind and healpfull staff. We traveled as a family and we all loved this place with magical sunset and wild Animals around. Food was very tastefull and wide choose. Tents were well equiepted and clean, bathroom offered a hot shower any time. E

A beautiful, almost magical, place. Very hospitable staff, great food, well assorted bar, the double room tent was well equipped, beautiful designen and the bed was a perfect place to sleep in after hours of safari.
