Hotel was niet duur, simpel. Niet heel schoon. Let op: in Turkije zijn hotels verplicht om een kopie van je paspoort te maken. Sofa hotel doet dit met een prive telefoon, accepteer dit niet. Laten je ook spontaan foto’s van andere paspoorten zien. Op deze manier loop je risico op identiteitsfraude. Slechte WiFi op mijn kamer. Turks ontbijt.

Pleasent experience, excellent breakfast and outstanding management. Worth for the money .Very helpful for booking for shuttle and other activities.The hotel is just located on the centre of high street. I will definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.

The property matched the online description, offering a spacious room and bathroom with comfortable beds. It was conveniently located near the city center with easy access to shops and restaurants. However, there was an unexpected overcharge for a third person and a 10% fee for credit card payments, which were not disclosed online. Finding a low-fee ATM was inconvenient. The breakfast was good but could have had more variety. The staff were nice and courteous.

Impossible to ask for more commitment and care from the team. Sofa Hotel is a very beautiful hotel in Avanos (15min distance from Goreme). We was a group of 14, thus, we book most of room types. Cave and Luxury rooms are incredible. We feel we enter a movie and forget the real world. All kind of rooms are bigger than we need and some of them seems like an home. All staff was very helpful and in the end they kindly sent to portugal a pair of headset someone forget in the room.

Friendly, family run hotel in a quiet location and a smaller town in the area - but still well situated for all the activities and sights in Cappadocia. The novelty of staying in a cave room adds to the experience of being in the area. The rooms and decorations are unique and very well done. Breakfast is extensive and very good. The courtyard is a lovely place to enjoy it. There are also rooftop areas which are great places to relax at the end of day with a cold drink.

This place is like living in a museum. All rooms are generous in size and have so many fine features. It’s like a maze to walk through but there is art and architecture to be admired throughout every turn. The morning breakfast buffet is incredible. Staff are great. For the money nothing can compare. I would highly recommend the stay here!

I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff were nice and the place is absolutely beautiful. It's a little easy to get lost in it depending on what room you're in. But there is a lovely courtyard, a small bar, a rooftop with fire pits, and my room was clean, spacious, and artfully decorated.

A very comfortable family run hotel, beautifully restored. A former mansion, the rooms have all been carefully and so lovingly restored in the Ottoman style. The staff are all very accommodating and an exceptional breakfast awaits you every morning. The rooms are all built around a central outdoor courtyard that functions as a breakfast area when the weather permits. As well, there are many covered areas for small group gatherings and socializing. Restaurants are close at hand and the ballooning area of Cappadocia is not far away.

We spent two nights at Sofa Hotel and had a perfect stay there. The rooms are clean and feel very cozy. The beautiful inner courtyard invites you to chill and spent time there. There is also a traditional turkish breakfast provided, where you can try all the tasty dishes. The hosts helped us with everything and parking was possible as well. We can highly recommend this accommodation for your stay in Avanos and Cappadocia.
