Walking distance to city centre, ferry terminal and shops. Nice Big apartment. Unfortunately, not very clean. Needing repairs to a lot of items. Manager was very helpful though.

Rooms weren't very clean. Manager was exceptionally rude demanding that we pay the full amount again even though we'd already paid a deposit. Blamed it on ******* and almost didn't allow me to sort it out. instead of trying to work out the issue, she just mocked us and spoke rudely making our first day in Brisbane quite unpleasant as i spent it chasing up the problem with ******* and feeling very upset by her comments. Better problem solving skills and communication would have been crucial in this situation.

Listed as a serviced apartment, this place is merely a dated, sagging air bnb. The low ceilings and overhead lights that make you feel like you are in some terrible cue deep in the bowels of a government office are bad enough. There was also a direct line of site into every window of the apartment from the balcony of neighbouring properties. Add to this a questionable and pervasive smell and you already have the makings of a less than perfect stay. The real issue is the excessive rules list presented at check in. Eg: wash everything up, clean the rooms, leave the towels in the bathroom, take out the garbage - except the recycling which you need to take down to the basement- before you leave. Plus I was told that because the place was full that they’d given me a 2 bedroom room instead of a 1 bedder that I had booked. Ok - so? I was told to close the doors to the extra bedroom and bathroom and not enter them under any circumstances. Seriously. Just stay somewhere else.
